"Fairly easy to install, But if you take it off it is a real pain to put back on. The front bracket for mounting plow or bucket is susposed to be 2 inches in front of the wheels but I could not even get it even with them . It just was not long enough."

"The kit was easy to put on the Artic Cat ATV. The drilling of the receiver hitch made it a true quicktach accessory along with the the two pins up front. I also bought the 50" blade, the bucket, the forklift, and another mount kit for my Arctic Cat 650 and 500 so I can interchange tools for different applications. Thumbs Up to Swisher and Cabela's for providing great products for the ATV."

"I purchased the bucket with it. It mounted easy on my polaris 700 but first time out I bent it. It is light duty. The bucket folds under if you catch it at all and bends the mounts square tube it also flipped up and knocked my head lamp out. This is a new machine with 150 miles on it to say the least I was very disappointed and considered buying a small tractor. I finally had time to press back straight and welded 1/4" strap 3" wide to help reinforce the square tube from springs forward. I'm going to buy an electric actuator and weld that into place and corect the floppyness of the bucket with some wiring and controls it should work much better."

"The Swisher ATV accessories Mount kit is definitely heavy duty. The drawback is if you have a Honda. The mount kit does not include an mounting brackets to connect to the A-arms. You have to modify yourself."

"I purchased the Swisher 48" snow blade . I love the blade and it easy to use after assembly(which will take a couple hours). You will also need very big wrenches (over 1" sockets and box wrenches) With the blade i needed the Mount kit. The directions are easy to understand for the mount kit.... it will take a couple of hours to assemble. But, the directions fail to tell you that this mount is not long enough for your POLARIS 500 Sportsman. (one of the most popular ATV's) It says ... you need an extention bar for the BOMBARDIER Outlander and Traxter only....But no other machine?????The extension does not come with this kit. I mounted it to my POLARIS and the mount bar bent. Dont get me wrong , the plow works great, And is very heavy duty . But, now i need to call SWISHER to get the extension bar and ask them to replace the bent part of the mount. If you order this mount....you may want to call SWISHER yourself and make sure it fits your ATV ."

"We live at 7800' in the mtns of NW Colorado - Have rec'd over 200 inches of recorded snow so far this season and still have two months of snow to go !!! This plow is excellent for quickly moving large amounts of snow from driveway and roads at our home. Also purchased the required Swisher mounting system and installed on Honda TRX500FA ATV with a Warn winch. You need some mechanical ability & tools to install and adjust to your particular ATV - Outstanding Design and I'm considering the Swisher mowing system for this summer."
