Alaka Game Bags,November 18, 2009
By Kdubyafrom Columbus, OH
"Just used these to pack out a 5x5 Bull elk out during Colorado's fourth Elk season. They are strong, have plenty of room, and expand nicely to accept quarters. Easy to pack and plenty strong for hauling quraters. Great product, worth every penny."

Alaska Game Bags,October 28, 2009

"Bags were smaller than what I expected. I needed 2 of them to cover a doe mule deer when I hung it up. Had to be careful when putting it on due to the material being delicate. It did the job it was intended for and you cannot beat the price."

Alaska Game Bags,October 19, 2009
By Jason517from Jackson Michigan
"Great game bags!
I first used the Alaska game bags on a elk hunting trip in Colorado. My brother was lucky enough to shoot a 5 X 4 bull. This was the first elk either one of us had even touched. Now we had to skin and quarter it up, another first for us. The Alaska game bags worked great to keep dirt, pine needles, flies, mountain jays, and everything else off the meat. The bags have a very tight weave that prevent any snagging or ripping, yet breathe very well cooling the meat. They are easy to roll over or load up with meat. Before long we had the bull quartered up and bagged ready to pack out.
I was so impressed with the bags that I started using them when I process my whitetails back here in Michigan. I’ll quarter up the deer and put it in the game bags to hang (when cool enough), until I get ready to vacuum seal up the meat. This way I can work one game bag at a time giving me more room to work on my cutting table. After all the bags are empty I throw them in the washing machine (by themselves), and there ready to go for the next deer.
If you are in the market for game bags don’t cheap out. You can tell where the couple extra bucks you spent went, into a great product that makes that small but very important part of the hunt go the right way. Get the Alaskan game bags you will be glad you did."

Too small for a moose,October 10, 2009
By hcp57from Alaska
"The quarter bags are good quality mesh fabric that looks like it will stand up in the field, but they will not be big enough to bag a moose. I think they would be fine for smaller game, but since these were made in Alaska we thought they would be bigger. They are just a long tube. I'm going to try cutting them and sewing 2 together."

Good Quality Game Bags,October 2, 2009
By crawfordcountyelkhunterfrom Marengo, IN
"I recently purchased these game bags for a bow elk hunt in the Flat Tops Wilderness Area in the mountains of Colorado. I was able to kill a nice 5 x 5 bull. My uncle and I quartered the elk up and used the Alaska Game Bags to store them in. The bags were hung in trees and had to hang for two days before we were able to get the elk packed off of the mountain. The bags worked perfect and even with all of the weight hanging for two days."

Good and Bad,September 15, 2009
By cfp4sfcfrom Idaho Elk Country
"The quarter bags in the package of four cannot be beat for price and durability. They are twice as heavy as the normal cheesecloth bags and stretch well. The meat can hit the ground, and the weave is tight enough to keep dirt off of it- I know, I've tried it. (Just packed a cow elk out 3 miles, on foot) Great product
The "Economy Bags" are junk. They are not a bag, just a tube and are super lightwieght cheesecloth. I don't know why this company doesn't sell a 72" deer sized bag made of the same material as the quarter bags. The economy bags are a huge disapointment compared to the quarter bags, and I will find another product to by for bagging up whole deer and boned out meat."
