Excellent Hunting Shirt,November 2, 2009
By Katjafrom Washinton State
"This shirt has plenty of pockets for hunting accessories. It is well made and very comfortable. Nice bright coloring for safety in the field. It is true to size and washes well. We like it so much that we have purchased three of them."

Good Hunting Shirt,October 26, 2009
By MTDeaniefrom Montana
"When I received the shirt and inspected the way it was built and what it looked like I was very pleased. The cut of the shirt is right to keep from being restrictive. The pockets are built with the extended sides to allow for larger items to be carried. The break up orange is very well proportioned with the dark color to allow it to be safe and legal but take away the nasty glow that solid hunter orange has. The material is very good quality and feels good to wear. You will be happy if you purchase this for hunting and will enjoy the comfort."

By GaryHikerfrom Florence , Ky.
"I found this shirt great for the area I traveled .I could be seen even in the heavyest of brush. The only thing I would change is the BLACK buttons and zipper. So I did , I painted them ORANGE. I think it looks alot better."

Cabela's Blaze Guide Shirt,July 24, 2009
By UncleKfrom Houston, Texas
"Having hunted in multiple states on private and public lands, Hunter Orange is usually mandated with very few exceptions. Our archery season is Hot and Humid, thus layering with an orange vest can be unbearable.
The Cabela's Blaze Guide Shirt is soft, comfortable and well constructed. Its single layer material with the caped & vented back will provide for necessary ventillation. The Seclusion Blaze pattern is a good breakup pattern to diffuse into the surroundings. The pockets have plenty of room and the zippered pockets will come in handy for calls and smaller items. The placement of the tab to secure rolled up sleeves was a well thought addition not only for ventillation but for dressing of game.
There are only two minor drawbacks, the zippers rattle with movement (easily rectified with shrink tubing or tape) and the hook and loop fasteners on the pockets can be noisy when accessing (prefer buttons). These are so minor that I still think the Cabela's Blaze Guide Shirt deserves a 5 star rating."

Blaze Guide Shirt,July 5, 2009
By JCSNSCANfrom Nova Scotia Canada
"O.K. shirt . If thinking of using it for deer hunting I would like to caution you that the zipper tabs rattle and make noise . Reduced it some by covering them with electrical shrinkwrap. Not made of the material I thought , possibly my fault for not reading the discription close enough"

blaze guide shirt.,May 12, 2009
By darkwoodsfrom Hunter from Philadelphia area.
"I was very satisfied with the shirt when I tried it on. It fits well with roomy pockets in the right places. I may buy another one. The soft materal feels great and will be very quiet in the woods. I will buy pants to match it. I have been disapointed in the past with noisy stiff camo clothes but not this one."

Blaze Guide Shirt,April 20, 2009
By CFawsonfrom Tooele, Utah
"The guide shirt is great. In Utah you can not hunt without a minimum of 400 square inches of hunter orange clothing. Tempretures in Utah can go anywhere from -10 to +80 degrees during hunting season. The balze guide shirt was not too heavy for the warm or too lite for the cold. It worked great. The mutiple pockets were also handy for hunting licenses and knives or a multi tool. I would recommend it to anyone."

Nice Medium Weight Shirt,December 11, 2008
By IdRatherBFshng
"This shirt is constructed very well. The buttons are big and sewn well. The ventilated back makes the shirt good for those days that turn warm after a cool morning. This is not an extreme cold weather shirt due to the ventialted back. I hunted today in 37 degree weather with a chill factor of 27 and with other layers and a top coat, the shirt was fine. The front pockets with the vertical zippers are mesh lined which works perfect for the medium size handwarmer packets. Due to the mesh lining in these pokets, they may have limited use. The flap shirt pockets are pleated and very large. They have two velcro fasteners on each pocket that are sewn in very well. The button down collar is a nice touch as well. I like being able to have a blaze orange shirt on under my hunting coat as I usually walk in to my stand carrying my coat and then put my coat on after I reach my stand. Also, when cleaning my kill, I usually take my coat off. Having a blaze orange shirt on keeps me from having to carry a safty vest. The less I have to carry in the better. Good hunting!"
