Good Boots,November 3, 2009
By Happydakotanfrom Sioux Falls, SD
"Purchased these boots a few weeks ago and right out of the box I was very pleased. They are very light weight and very easy to break in. Took me 2hrs in the field to break these in. Recently returned from a 3 day hunt in which I wore them for 6hrs a day out in the field and had zero discomfort. GREAT boots and a great price!"

GREAT VALUE,November 1, 2009
By dbaxfrom Ohio
"Very comfortable boot for the right price. They still look brand new after two seasons of use. Leather holds up well against tough thick briar. I only wish they had a beefer sole for better traction on slick hills and descents."

Hunting boots,October 31, 2009
By Merdefrom Iowa
"I really like these boots. I bought them on sale on-line and they were everything advertised and they fit me like a glove. I have worn them in the feild walking through standing water, mud, through tall wet grass and my feet stayed warm and dry. They have great traction and the thing I like most of all is that they are light weight. I can wear them all day in the field pheasant hunting and my feet and legs never got tired. I recommend them to any serious hunter."

everything but comfort,October 21, 2009
By 6x6ornothingfrom colorado high country
"though these boots are light and waterproof, they are not comfortable. when bending the foot, like walking up hill, the top of the foot or front of the ankle gets bruised from the boot. where the boot laces up gets bunched up and pushes against the soft tissue at the front of the ankle making extended wear very uncomfortable. the traction in wet or snowy conditions is also limited, and requires you to really pay attention to wear you put your feet."

Great Comfort Right Out of The Box,October 14, 2009
By LCHunterfrom Smithfield, VA
"Just adding to the general consensus that these boots are super comfortable out of the box and are probably the best wearing boot that I own. I am 6'3", 225 lbs, have a wide foot between sizes 12 and 13, thus I went with the 12 EE and it fit like a dream. My maiden test was a 2 mile hike up a mountain and then back down. The comfort was super and traction was more than adequate, as mentioned the cleats don't gather and hold mud. Part of my hike was through dew-soaked grass and my feet stayed bone dry. Speaking again for comfort and support, coming down hills and mountains usually makes my shins and knees hurt, but I experienced no discomfort on my descent or in the days to follow. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone looking for solid comfortable footwear at an affordable price. Hurry up and get them while they are still on sale in the Bargain Cave!"

great boots,October 7, 2009
By John4fishingfrom warner robins , ga
"This is a wonderful pair of boots , very comfortable to wear, very durable and the bottoms do not trap mud. My only minor concern is the shoe string holders are too small and the strings sometimes come loose, but on the other hand, the holders do not catch bush while walking! Overall 5 star boot."

Five Stars,September 22, 2009
By ShawnRfrom ohio
"I bought a pair of the Brittany upland hunting boots a year ago for a grouse hunting trip in a undisclosed location. The weight and the reputation Cabelas has earned for making quality products were the main selling points not to mention the price. I have spent a considerable amount of time in them in the past year and they are perfect. Light, comfortable, and easy to break in. I used them through hunting season, trapping season, fishing season and now I'm about ready to start all over. It would be hard for me to believe that there is anything better."

Chuckar Hunter,August 18, 2009
By JWT06from Gresham, OR
"I needed a boot with more room in the toe and I found it in the Brittany, The boot also has a soft sole for gripping the rocks and side hills known with hunting most upland birds.
I also hunt Elk & Deer during archery season the soft sole makes it easier to be quiet when it is dry out."

COMFORTABLE BOOT,July 7, 2009
By Cliffthesurveyorfrom Northeast Ohio
"Great fitting boot, comfortable, lightweight, and appears to be made really well. Moderately waterproof and can be worn all day with several miles racked up with no foot strain. The only deficit may be in the traction category, the tread is simply not aggressive enough and one wear in a late winter snow convinced me that it is only a fair weather boot. The lace hooks could be larger, they have a tendency to let the laces slide off especially in brushy environs. All in all a decent boot for the money and for extended activities in the field."

Good Boots,March 10, 2009
By N1Boykinfrom South Carolina
"This is probably the 5th pair of these boots that I have purchased from Cabela's. I wear them every day. I am a full time property manager and hunting guide, so these things get a real workout. Break-in usually is only 1 day and I can get a good 8 months of life out of a pair. Not bad for less than $100/pair. Other boots that cost twice that last me about the same amount of time. Really good buy!"

Comfortable,February 23, 2009
By FeasantPhinder
"These are excellent boots for most of the mid western pheasant hunting I encounter. The boots are exceptionally comfortable and light for walking. The low treads don't load with mud.
If it's icy, you might want more lugs. If you're walking on very sharp rocks in the mountains, you might want stiffer soles.
Because the soles are light weight, they tend to wear faster than, say old-fashioned Vibram lugs or other heavy boots, but the price per mile is low and heavy boots will tire you out walking. I like them enough that I just bought my 4th pair (#1 is shot, #2 a pretty worn spare, so I have 2 good pairs to switch for a dry pair.)
For pheasant hunting, they're the best I've found - and I've tried MANY."

By GrandpaDutchman
"I learned many years ago that a good pair of boots were very important. I hunt pheasant & quail and put several miles in on most every hunt. These boots are great! At the end of the day my feet are still in good shape. I would definitely recommend these boots to any outdoorsman that walks alot. They give good support and comfort at the same time."

Best Boots Ever,January 27, 2009
By Redneckohiofrom Ohio
"I'm a very picky person when it comes to buying boots. Just ask my Wife, she won't even come with me when I go to the store. Just think how hard this must have been for me to order these with out putting them on first. I was a bit apprehensive about the whole idea. When they arrived I put them on and WHOW!!!! I purchased these for Turkey and Pheasent so I thought I would break them in on a late season deer hunt the weekend following, I used the in camp and for general chores. Though I was wearing house slippers."

Excellent quality at a great price,December 23, 2008
By Nickno1from Oxford, OH
"Doing a lot of upland hunting, I am a fan of 200 gram insulated boots with a waterproof, breathable liner. I have worn several other manufacturers' boots, but the Cabela's Brittany is the best boot for the price that I have found. At 10", I thought they would be uncomfortable because I was used to 8", but I have been pleasantly surprised. So pleasantly surprised that I now have 3 pairs of them."
