Never disappointed,November 22, 2009
By 12gauge123from Pennsylvania
"I have been buying products from Cabelas since I was 16. I am now 36. I have never once been disappointed with anything I have purchased. I often find that a product cabelas sells under their name is superior to the other products that cost more. They have more features and are built better. I have a Cabelas water fowl jacket that I have been hunting with for 15 years in a saltwater environment and there is not a single thing wrong with it. Now onto the boots. I live in Pennsylvania and I figured on 5 days for the delivery. I got them in 2 days, just in time to go small game hunting the next day. They arte built tough. Very beefy. I wore them for 5 hours straight, up down down hills through water etc. My feet never hurt once. They also stayed completely dry. This is another good product from Cabelas at a fair price."

Worked Great,November 20, 2009
By MTelkchaserfrom Great Falls, MT
"I used my Cabela's Master Guide® Hunting Boot for Elk Hunting in Montana. They required a coulple of days at work to break-in but very comfortable after that. My hunt was in a foot of snow and 20 deg weather all over a mountainside. The Cabela's Master Guide® Hunting Boot held up well, worked great, and my feet stayed very warm and dry. The out side of the boot was very wet when I got to the truck but not a drop of water inside. So far I am very pleased with this boot and feel it is a great deal on a good boot."

Outstanding durability,July 21, 2009
By sgrinnenfrom Erie, PA
"I have owned these boots since 2002. I wear them several times a year for both small game and deer season in NW PA. They continue to be extremely comfortable. I have treked through many streams, and have been through several rain soaked days with these boots. My feet have always remained 100% dry. I definitely got my money's worth from these boots. If these boots ever wear out, I will be purchasing another pair. Thanks."

Noisy,July 19, 2009
By MacOnefrom Canada
"I ordered a pair of these boots last fall and like many others have found these boots to be excellent in comfort, light weight, warmth and waterproof... even crossing streams or small rivers. I hunt in Newfoundland where there are lots of bogs and marsh and the boots have never once let in water or let me down. A perfect boot except for the fact that they squeak. I moose, bear and rabbit ( snow shoe hare hunt with beagles) and there is no way you can sneak around the woods quietly in these boots. I contacted Cabela's and true to their word, they sent me another pair. Haven't hunted in them yet, but boy these squeak too while wearing them around the house. Will let you all know if they quiet down with more use. I find it weird that I seem to be the only one with the squeaky boots. Anyone have a problem with noise and these boots?"

Soaking wet feet,December 30, 2008
By marycsfrom Montana
"My husband really liked these boots until hunting season. He couldn't figure out what happened one very wet day because his feet were soaking wet in his "100% waterproof" boots. After reading some of the other reviews we've determined it must be the boots. He had a similar experience as another reviewer where he literally poured water out of the boots after he sloshed all the way back to camp."

Exceptional,December 10, 2008
By Angierfarmfrom Hickory, NC
"What a great boot!!! What a great price!! The best boot for the money on the market. Extremely tough and durable. Very warm and water proof. I have used these on many quail hunts and to track downed deer in NC and SC. They have stood in creeks and walked through bottom-land all without fail. They are very comfortable and I love how light weight they are while still feeling so substaintial. Bob soles offer great traction, the cordura nylon feels bullet proof and the leather soft and supple yet tough. I highly recommend these boots!!"

Seem to be a good boot,November 17, 2008
By dawghunter
"I have had two pairs of these boots...first pair worked great. I just returned from a elk hunting trip from the southeastern part of Oregon and these boots worked great untill the snow came. My feet got wet and cold. It's been three days and my boots are still wet and soaked with water. I greased my boots well before the trip, so I would really think about these boots if your getting any kind of rain/snow."

cabelas master guide hunting boot,November 14, 2008
By ryan66
"When I first bought the boots they seemed like a good buy for the money. This impression lasted until the first time I wore the boots in the rain. They soaked up water like a sponge just from the rain hitting them when standing on level ground. I literally poured the water out of them."

Great Boots,September 23, 2008
By Fisherking17from Janesville,WI
"These boots are heavy duty without being heavy. They have that already broke-in feeling. I have spent three times as much on boots and have NEVER come across such a comfortable pair of boots right out of the box before. The waterproof Dry Plus membrane is a huge bonus which you would usually pay much more for. These boots are not only the most comfortable boots I've had in a while, they are an incredible value as well."

Best Value,August 21, 2008
By AlaskanMountainSurveyor
"I've been wearing this boot and working them hard for six years now. Not one flaw though they are quite worn and I'm going to buy a new pair now. I've been fishing, hunting, and hiking Alaska with this boot. And not just the foot paths. I annually hiked and snow surveyed the mountians wearing only these boots and snow shoes. Even in -40 these boots and a good pair of socks was all that was needed while snowmobiling in and out of sites. I've not bought anything that compared to the value of these boots!"

Take your chances,August 8, 2008
By patrailsmanfrom Pennsylvania
"I bought these boots after a friend told me how great they were. The first pair lasted a little over a year then the sole on the right boot came apart. I exchanged them for another pair of the same boots. The second pair lasted about 7 months before the sole on the right boot separated. Both pair of boots were not waterproof unless you had applied boot dressing within a day or two. This time I exchanged them for Danner Pronghorns with good results so far after 2 weeks."
