get what you pay for,August 3, 2009
By bigja1977from Logan, utah
"This was a cheap headset and I guess that's what I got. It does work good for the money. I would definetely spend a few more dollars and get a nicer one next time. My biggest complaint is that when you start talking it doesn't immediately turn on with your voice and the person on the other end doesn't get the first part of what you said. but you can hum for a second until you hear it then start talking"

Voice activated headset,April 12, 2008
By JackWRfrom Spokane Washington
"I have the boom mic set up that is voice activated. My elk hunting crew all use the Rhino series radios and the voice activated boom mic is the way to go. Hands free operation you just have to get used to activating the boom mic. We all archery hunt and once you have the headset in the right place with the wires under your garmint out of the way it works excellent."

"The head sets are good but the bloom part of the mic takes time to get use to. Over all they are good."

Go for the ear bud.,November 21, 2006
By Yamahaman203675from Pittsburgh, PA
"The mic worked fine when I was in the truck, but it was way too bulky for walking in the woods. I bought this instead of an earbud, because they always hurt my ear and I could move it off my ear to hear better, but I will be buying one of the ear buds before deer season starts. It was also inconvient that there was no PTT button on this, so you have to actually hit the button on the GPS unit."
