"We loved everything about this tent within minutes of setting it up the first time. The directions are simple and there is nothing difficult about setting this tent up. "The tent was difficult to set up by myself. The fit was so tight on the poles that I even tried setting it up on the ground and then moving it onto the truck. The set up was just to much of a hassle, and this was in my driveway. Imagine the frustration of trying to do this in the dark and with the wind blowing. Too many straps and poles to mess with for me. Once assembled it did fit nice. The fabric that wraps around the straps to protect the paint will hold sand and do more harm than good. I returned it and will stay with the traditional tent for half the price."

"We recently ordered this truck tent right before the 4th of July. Shipping was so fast and Cabela's customer service was awesome. As far as the tent goes...It did the job. We set it up for the first time in the rain at night (not very smart on our part) and it was up in about 10-15 min. We also purchased the Truck Bedz air mattress which made it a pretty enjoyable experience. Without the mattress I can't imagine it would be very comfortable at all. The tent seemed to be sturdy and weather proof. It poured rain all night and only had one little corner where moisture came in. Overall it was a great tent and definitly worth the money. Recommended for anyone who likes to just park and camp without having to worry about the terrain!"

"Fold your tent any way you want to, and it still will fit in the bag. Now that is convenience. Not to mention the easy setup, easy take-down, sleeping off the ground (happy wife-requirement), light as a briefcase, and just plain cool. "Bought the Sportz Truck tent 3 for May 24 long weekend and loved it! It took about 20 minutes to set up the first time and held up amzingly in the cold/rain/wind of the long weekend. The sewn in floor is the best feature because it ensures no rain or bugs have any access to getting at you. Even with the weather of the weekend i didnt experience any leaking thanks to using the reccomended seam sealer. Overall its an amazing product that anyone who has a truck and camps should have. I left it behind my seat in case i ever need to set up a tent unexpectadly. Great Product!"

"I recieved the Trenz Sportz Truck Tent III for my birthday this year. I was unsure of the fit in the bed and the strength of the poles because of some of the previous reviews but after a couple of practice runs in the driveway it fit like a glove in my '95 F-250 longbed and so far the poles have proven to be plenty strong.
The first time out we got snowed on in the middle of the night and didn't even know till the next morning. Other than the awning falling over because of a loose rope it held up like a champ and kept us warm and dry. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good soulution for car camping.
The only thing I need now is a truck bed air mattress and a bigger sleeping bag.

"I used the Sportz truck tent III for the first time at the 12 hrs of Sebring. Setup is really easy after a practice run, and is very roomy inside. The fit and finish of this truck tent is perfect, and the colors really look great. I'm not a big camper, neither is my wife but we both slept great. It even rained, but not a drop got inside with the rain fly on. I got a lot of question asked about the tent, everyone was interested in the brand and how much. I think these Sportz Truck Tent III's are great! If I had to pick out one negative thing.. The awning, after it rained the awning did not run off the water, so it was holding a lot of water and sagging way down. This may be a common situation with tents in the rain. I do not consider this a major problem but it would be nice if the water had a way to run off the awning. Thanks for offering a great product and fast shipping Cabela's!"

"bought tent, brought tent home, while assembling tent bamboo poles cracking and eventually breaking. very poor materials and contruction. also do not like the floor in the tent, too big for inside of bed. looks like a parachute."
