"Recieved my boots 3 weeks ago. I have worn them every day while hiking through the woods. Fit is awesome. No wear in time for me. I wear a 6 wide so ordered a 7. Very well made and piece of mind when copperheads are hidden in the leaves. Easy on, easy off. Love these boots!"

"Although I have only had these boots a short time, I already know I am going to love them. They are extremely comfortable and what I like most is the fact that they are so lightweight. They are made so I can tuck my jeans in very easily or I can wear my jeans on the outside. Another plus is that if I need to I can ride my motorcycle with them on. It is easy enough to change gears. Thanks for a great boot."

"You can see the quality in these boots from a mile away. They were comfortable from the first step. I took prior buyers advice and bought them a half size larger. Wore these boots in the city with jeans and was stopped twice by people asking where I got them. The footing is good in desert conditions and I love the snake guard."

"It is hard to find good snake boots for women. These boots are first rate in materials and manufacture. However, the fit is not quite right for my feet. I saw a previous review that noted that they were too tight across the arch but I gave them a try in size 7.5. This pair was too tight across the arch and I returned them for a size 8. This pair was workable but still a bit snug. I have worn them a few times but have never worn them for several hours at a time and I wonder if they would hurt my feet then. I would still recommend them since Cabela's has an good return policy so you can give them a try and return them if you need to. I feel confident they would protect in case of a snakebite and we have lots of snakes here!"

"I purchased this boot based on 2 things, other purchasers reviews and the the fact it was 17" tall. I was able to slide it on right out to the box and wear them. They felt great, wore well and I was able to climb into tree stands without that "stiff boot" feel. It is well worth price and Chippewa Made in America name."

"The boots are really nice looking and being American made is definately a great thing. I bought them in the same size that I buy all of my work boots, and they fit good as far as length and width. Just be aware that they are really tight across the the top of the boot. I've never bought a boot before that my foot was too thick for!"

"WOW! What a boot! Exceptionally well made--handmade too--and an extremely comfortable boot. Almost no break-in time. Very light, but also substantial. I was worried that the 17 inch might hit too high, but not the case. Perfect fit with no restriction and no dragging. I ordered a size larger, mainly because I am a half size smaller. However, I find that with socks, the boots are fine. Good toe room, perfect arch support, heel fits--not too snug, but just right. Great looking. Like the ease of slip on plus the ability to buckle to tighten if needed. I will wear these to garden, walk, do whatever--would be fine for hiking too if out for a nice stroll. Rugged sole. Excellent hand-stitching. High quality leather inside and out. Tough snake resistant. Also, nice color! All in all I HIGHLY recommend, especially for the snake proof part. I feel quite comfortable and safe in these boots. Arkansas has lots of critters and snakes, vipers too. Now I feel like I can do what I love--being outdoors. Will be great in the fall and winter too--with a heavier sock, will be warm. Again, excellent pull on--smooth leather lining--high quality at what would seem expensive but after getting them and wearing, I would have expected to pay double! HIGHLY RECOMMEND--perfect for a ladies' foot! Did I mention that I like that they are made in the USA? I would feel comfortable in buying another Chippewa boot!"
