new pack, you can secure any bow or rifle to your back and keep both hands free for those times
when the going gets rough. The pack is constructed of CT450 Plus. This revolutionary waterproof
fabric is soft and quiet even in temperatures well below zero, and it sports a low-nap finish so it
will not collect burs, seeds and other clingy vegetation. The large main compartment easily
accommodates bulky items like extra clothing. Two side pockets, one with a pass-through design,
hold shooting sticks or a collapsible hiking staff and keep them where you can get to them quickly.
The fold-out bow-cam/buttstock
support secures the lower cam of your bow or buttstock of your rifle and
is adjustable to fit even a long muzzleloader or recurve. The padded compression pod holds your
bow or rifle securely in place and can be removed for use as a convenient day pack. The
compression pod contains an organizer panel and hideaway blaze orange safety panel. A rigid but
lightweight sheet frame with aluminum stays adds extra support and structure to the main pack. It
also has a molded back panel, padded hip belt and contoured shoulder straps with no-slip panels
to keep your bow or rifle from sliding off your shoulder. The Pack also boasts the added protection of a
Scent-Lok®-lined main compartment to prevent game-spooking odors from ever reaching their

"Very Workable BAckpack with any Hunting Situation. I would recommend the large, there is much more room. This backpack is versitile: comes in 2 parts that can be seperated if you only want to carry half of your load. This is the ultimate backpack for a bow or rifle hunter that must go on long hikes to get to their hunting destination. "Just finished a week long hunting trip and this pack worked great. The pack had plenty of space and was comfortable to wear. The only thing they need to change is the straps for securing your bow/rifle. The pack comes with Velcro straps, which is too noisy to use in an area you are hunting. I will be changing these to buckle straps."

"I am a 33" pant waist and couldn't get this waist belt tight enough before you got into the padding. With some slight modifications it was close. Same problems with the chest strap. I am not a small person; this pack just seems to be for bigger people. I also felt it pulled my shoulders and caused neck pain. The material on the molded back piece came loose on one weekend of use. I liked some of the features for the money but I just couldn’t make it work."

"I ordered the Extra Large Pack after MUCH RESEARCH on PACKS in preparation for a Mountain Goat and Bear hunt. The quality of construction was good and the pack has lots of great compartments. However as a athletic/in shape woman thats 5'6" 124 lbs I found the pack too heavy (and that was not loaded up with anything) and not a comfortable fit for someone my size.
For me I didn't find access to my rifle easy to get to with this pack."

"I hunt both bow and rifle so this pack was a must. Plenty of room and super quiet, also very waterproof, a must in the pacific northwest. Carries both weapons with ease and very securely. Not a big fan of the Cabelas H2O system, it sloshed around too much for my liking, swapped it out with an insulated Camelbak and is now good to go. My only real complaint was the belly strap on the XL wont go small enough and I am not a small guy, but I needed the extra room for all my gear. Overall a really good pack. I really liked the velcro on the belly strap it makes it much easier to put knife/gun holster or any other accessories on."

"This is an excellent pack with plenty of room for whatever you could need. For shorter day trips when you don't need to take your rifle or bow the rear section detaches and the pack is lighter and more effecient. It's a real doouble duty back pack. The zippers tough with easy to grab and use with gloves. The compartments are easy to use and the locations are very well thought out. Lots of room great design. Whom ever designed this has used packs for some time and put plenty of thought into this one. It works great for me. I've recomended this pack for my hunting partners and they liked it to, so far."

"I recieved this product as a christmas gift, the best gift i ever recieved. Its durable and very water proof, and is just a great pack all arond. I use it for deer, bear, and hopefully someday elk. I use both a bow and rifle, works great for both i have found no problems except for the pouch for your cam/stock is a little long even after you adjust it. Other than that i have no complaints at all. I highly recommend this pack for any one and any type of hunting."

"This is an excellent pack for a day hunt, or a week hunt. I;ve used this pack for 2 years worth of hunting, and it performed exceptional. I've hunted day hunts for whitetail, and mulies in southwest colorado. My brother, and I have hunted elk for a week at a time in the moutains above 12,000 ft with no sivialization within 40 to 50 miles. We trust these backpacks with my survival equipment, and therefore my safety. You can't go wrong well worth the price, and very comfortable when heavily packed. Also keeps my scentblocker clothing outfitter jacket and pants scent free in the treestand in case of rain in early season. Just buy it you wont be sorry."

"Typically I was using a regular backpack and had a hard time justifying the price. However, I was going on my first stalk hunt were I would walk alot. "OK, I read all the reviews before I bought this pack and included in those reviews were some minor flaws. I found that the flaws were so minor that they didn't exist. Example: The pocket for the cam on my bow wouldn't go short enough - you don't even need that pocket because there are three straps under the compression cover that will secure the bow just fine. I'm thinking I may even be able to carry my bow in the pack on my horse. I will know soon. This pack appears to be just what I need for hunting - comfortable, light and functional."
