If you've ever tried to plow through thick cover or keep your balance when hiking a steep
mountainside while toting a bow or rifle, you know it's next to impossible. But with this innovative
new pack, you can secure any bow or rifle to your back and keep both hands free for those times
when the going gets rough. The pack is constructed of CT450 Plus. This revolutionary waterproof
fabric is soft and quiet even in temperatures well below zero, and it sports a low-nap finish so it
will not collect burs, seeds and other clingy vegetation. The large main compartment easily
accommodates bulky items like extra clothing. Two side pockets, one with a pass-through design,
hold shooting sticks or a collapsible hiking staff and keep them where you can get to them quickly.
The fold-out bow-cam/buttstock
support secures the lower cam of your bow or buttstock of your rifle and
is adjustable to fit even a long muzzleloader or recurve. The padded compression pod holds your
bow or rifle securely in place and can be removed for use as a convenient day pack. The
compression pod contains an organizer panel and hideaway blaze orange safety panel. A rigid but
lightweight sheet frame with aluminum stays adds extra support and structure to the main pack. It
also has a molded back panel, padded hip belt and contoured shoulder straps with no-slip panels
to keep your bow or rifle from sliding off your shoulder. Imported. Sizes:
Large: 18" x 13" x 7" main compartment with 2,150 cubic inches of space.

Bad fit, Great pack,November 19, 2009
By och1from Spokane,WA
"I am taking the time to fill this out in hopes of sparing someone a disapointment. I have been looking at this pack for at least two years. I studied the layout of pockets, size, material and construction. I had not paid close attention to the actual fit of the pack.( my bad) Once I put the pack on it was not long and I relized that the pack put tremendous pressure on the back of my neck and there is no way to get it low enough to be comfortable ( and I have a long torsoe). The piece of material sewn to the straps hits you in the back of the neck, if you look at other packs you will see that the straps get sewn much lower and have adjustment straps to shift weight from your hips to your shoulders. I was very disapointed and hope they make a change to the shoulder straps. Before buying a pack have someone who knows packing fit you and show you how a pack is suppose to work. I have done that since and learned a lot! I hope this helps."

The Best Pack,November 19, 2009
By tassiehunterfrom Tasmania, Australia
"I recently purchased the Cabela's Bow and Rifle Pack prior to a hunting trip to Victoria hunting Sambar. The pack proved to be the best piece of hunting equipment that I have purchased for backpacking into remote country.
I mean it did everything that it was made to do and some. I would highly reccomend this pack to any hunter wanting comfort and versatility in their gear.
Thanks Cabela's and good hunting."

Nice Pack,October 27, 2009
By Bowhunter0901from Friendship, Wi.
"This pack was an excellent idea, it keeps my hands free so I can get through the woods and has tons of storage space. The daypack feature is perfect, I keep my hunting aids in the main pack and all my field dressing and drag harness in the day pack, so when I bag a deer I can disconnect the main pack and just use the day pack to find and gut my kill. I have not used it with my gun yet but I am confident it will be just as useful."

Good Pack,October 27, 2009
By kwrightfrom Buffalo County, Wisconsin
"Bought pack for mainly for elk hunting.. Great Pack for the Price However didn't like how you had to remove pack to get to the side pockets..And with shoulder straps the gun sling didn't like to rest on shoulder when i didn't have it stuffed in pack.. I bought the large and had plenty of room for snacks/water, Game cleaning kit and extra clothing incase weather changed on me.. As with most big hunts getting into shape is biggest concern. Wearing pack on shoulders was comfortable. Would recommned wearing pack couple days in advance to get shoulders used to weight if at'll possible."

Awesome Pak,October 20, 2009
By TexasOutfitterfrom South Texas
"Bought this pak for a high country elk hunt in Wyoming a couple of weeks ago. The weather was Extreme....coldest October in 40 years we were told...and the room in the XL pak was great for carrying extra gear and clothing. But the real PLUS was the rifle carrier.....with all the clothes I had on and trying to walk in 1.5 to 2 feet of snow, it was hard to sling or carry my rifle. The rifle carrier on the pak was a life saver. It made walking so much easier....no telling what kind of abuse my rifle would have taken, had it not been for this awesome feature. Thanks Cabelas"

Bow and rifle pack,October 13, 2009
By 1redneck1from CA
"This is a very expenive pack that does not measure up. It will hold a rifle if you add straps, and the small pack on the outside is worthless. The main compartment is impossible to get at with a rifle strapped in and the small pack attached. Spen over $100 with S&H and was very dissapointed!!!"

Great Pack,October 12, 2009
By Norseceltfrom Colorado
"Just got back from 6 days of elk hunting and this pack withstood all the abuses that mother nature (and I) could throw at it. Lot of room in the main compartment for a days worth of gear and room to spare for packing the meat out. Very comfortable and the rubber grip on the shoulder straps really worked to keep the sling in one place while humping through the woods. Only drawback is the small water bag. I swapped it out for a larger one that I already had, but tha's really the only fault I found with the system."

Wonderful Pack,October 10, 2009
By JL26from Niobrara River, NE
"Used this twice now in NE bow hunting. Just a wonderful pack to have, however I would recommend that if you like to take a bunch of gear with you like rain gear, heavy coat, fleece clothing, food, med kit, and supplies that you may need, I would definitely recommend the extra large pack. I like to leave the cabin early, and it is a hike to my hunting grounds, so I stay out all day and the regular large pack is just not big enough. Also the bottom sling for the butt of your gun, or a bow cam slips off my bow cam all the time, however the straps keep it in place nicely though. I just stopped using the bottom sling on the bow. I'm sure it will work great on a rifle though. All together a wonderful pack!!!!!"

it needs to slim down a bit,October 8, 2009
By Rico223from Idaho Falls, ID
"I really liked this pack the only thing that i would change would be the wieght. if they could find a way to slim it down a bit by a couple of pounds this would be a great pack. I hiked for 5 hours and by the end of the hike i was ready to get the pack off my back but all in all it is a good pack the hydration bladder could be bigger but i would definetly recommend this pack to anyone."

Great Backpack,September 18, 2009
By Anonymousfrom Cedar City, UT
"Overall this is a great, sturdy backpack. The complaints I have are minor complaints. One, the backpack isn't really designed for people with long torsos. I am 6'4" and the waist strap rides up a little on me while I hike. Two, there isn't a specific spot for a spotting scope. It is still big enough to hold a spotting scope inside the main compartment but I would like to see a specific pouch built for it. No big deal though. Great backpack overall."

Excellent Product,September 18, 2009
By Jazydogfrom Howards Grove, Wisconsin
"I just used this pack on a seven day caribou hunt in Northern Quebec and am very pleased with it. The pack served as my carry on while traveling and my day pack while hunting. I pretty much carried this pack everywhere I went for a week and it is a winner. My favorite features are the detachable mini-pack on the front, the spacious main compartment (it's huge!), the built in H2O system and the amply padded internal pack frame. When traveling on the plane, the main compartment fit into the overhead bin even though the pack was crammed full. I was able to remove the mini-pack with my personal items in it and put it under the seat in front. In the field, I hiked up to 10 miles a day over rolling tundra carrying this pack. The padded internal frame, adjustable straps and waist belt insured a comfortable ride and a good fit. The hydration system is ultra-convenient and very handy for long days of hiking and hunting. I did not use the rifle holder for my gun but did use it to strap by caribou antlers to the pack for the 5 mile trek back to the boat. It worked great."

Bow and Rifle Pack- FANTASTIC,September 10, 2009
By JoeVirginiafrom Virginia
"This is simply the best day pack I have ever had. Plenty of room for essential gear, easy to pack rifle or bow, nice hydration system, room for my trekking poles which I need since I have a problem with my leg. The pack fits nicely and is comfortable. I plan to add a couple of buddy lock accessories. I am not sure how you could possibly improve it. Even the price was reasonable beyond belief."

My Husband LOVES it!!,September 9, 2009
By LoraSuefrom McMinnville Oregon (Willamette Valley)
"My husband had been eyeing this particular pack for a couple of years now...we saw it on special so I ordered it for him. HE LOVES IT! It has so much more versatility than we expected from the limited description online. That was a very awesome bonus and he cannot WAIT to go hunting with it. He has already taken it hiking, fourwheeling and spotting deer and elk but the true test will be the actual hunt this Oct and Nov. Thank you for featuring such a fine product."
