"Purchased the crossbows when they were on sale for less than $10. Both worked good and shot the foam balls well but not fast enough to hurt anyone or break anything. Good to keep the interest of a 3 and 4 year old."

Shotgun - Great a Kid War in the Home!,

"Purchased 3 of the shotguns for my boys (Ages 10, 4, & 2) for Christmas. The 2 yr. old cannot cock it himself - but shoots it just fine. they all have a ball with these guns - and no one gets hurt! A shot at close range to the face results in a little sting - and glass Christmas ornaments will break - but everything else holds up fine to them! I highly recommend purchasing extra ammo immediately - as somehow it always turns up missing. The whole family has had a ball with these foam shooters. Hopefully they will stand the test of time and last awhile for my boys to use them!! Range isn't extremely long - depends on the foam ball - some shoot further than others. Also - don't be surprised if some balls don't fit (too small) or don't shoot (too hard - suggestion - stomp on them for a bit - then they will work!)
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"

"My 11 year old son spent a good portion of Christmas morning shooting those foam darts at anything and everything. It was the kind of gift that's easy to transport and the tube itself has storage for the darts. If they are ever available again, I'd get at least 3 more. I like to give gifts to kids that are "out of the ordinary", but fun. Be sure to order an extra set of darts. These are bigger than the other foam darts you can buy at the store."
