Decent release for the money!,

"This release is comfortable and is OK for the money. I did not like the hair trigger that if you barely touch it, it opens up. I ended up returning it and buying a different one that the spring holds the caliper closed and you have to pull the trigger all the way till it releases."

"I had a release that was too short, and causing me to have inconsistent releases! I had some friends take a look, and quickly identify that my release was too short, causing me to have to reach out, and then bend my trigger finger to release.
I found the E-Z adjust caliper doing an online search, and decided to give it a try. It works great and I have a wonderful group now and more importantly.... I'm ready for bow season!!"

"My first release for my first compound bow - used to shoot recurve with finger release and worried if I'd make adjustment. This works smoothly and I easily made the adjustment to it. I see using this one for a long time."

"Quite simply, this release works well. This is my third release in the last 10 years. I still like my last release, which is a Scott. However, it has a very sensitive trigger. For those of you who have read the other reviews, the Cabela's release does not have a hair trigger. It has a very nice trigger pull, similar to a rifle. Just like any trigger, concentrate on your trigger squeeze, the release should be a surprise and (Wala!), you have a respectable shot group. The Cabela's release is forgiving and I feel it much more suitable for a hunting situation than my former release. For the price, this release would be hard to beat. I recommend this release highly. As with anything, it is personal preference when speaking about a release. With practice, I believe those who purchase this product will be very satisfied with its performance."
