"This product has performed as it was described and was easy to mount on the boat. Some of the earlier reviews indicated the tolerances were sloppy and it didn't fit tight. Have had no such problem. Mounted a Minn Kota Terrova 80 on it, and it works great. The ability to padlock the trolling motor is also a excellent feature."

"quick release is stable and comes off easy. I sometime disconnect my trolling motor before hitting the dock if it is windy as my boat is only 16 ft and the motor hangs over the bow"

Quick release trolling motor mount,

"Finally I can pull my trolling motor and get a cover on my boat. There are other quick-release mounts, but this one is simple and economic. The only drawback I can see is the possibility of losing the lock screw. I just purchased a couple of bolts the same thread to keep handy."

"If you are going to have a bow mount trolling motor you should have one of these.Easy installation,rock solid even when trailering.Perfect if you have to cover your boat as I do,I just slide the motor off the mount and lay it down in the bow then put the cover on."
