The Journey HD boasts fully adjustable output and lets you customize the amount of pressure it takes to
engage the brakes. Ideal for shifting weights. Unit has a digital display for quick reference of output and
self diagnostics wire and is polarity-protected to prevent damage if the power wire and ground wires are
connected incorrectly. Manual override allows you to send full power to the trailer brakes when needed.
No output interference with tow vehicle's electrical system, anti-lock brakes or cruise control. Short-circuit
detection. Includes mounting bracket, hardware and installation manual. Factory-installed tow

"This is a great value for a good controller without spending a small fortune. This fits neatly under the dash and stays out of the way of your legs in a 2004 F-150 Supercrew. This comes pre-wired with the OEM tow package connector on the hardwired controller harness. If you plan on switching this between vehicles that use a different OEM connector, you may want to look for a controller that has a removable wire harness rather than a hardwired pigtail."

"The pre wired harness just plugs in and the wires are long enough to mount low and above the em. brake release were I like it. They also are long enough on my 3/4 Ton Yukon xl to sit ontop of the stearing colum."

"the unit was defective right out of the box. The manual over ride return spring was missing or broke. the unit was easy enoungh to install because it was pre-wired. this made life easy. i had no choice but to use the unit because there wasn't enough time to send it back for exchange. it worked well on the road except the manual lever slide over and activated the brakes because there was no spring to keep it de-activated. other then that unit was fine."

"Easy to install, easy to adjust, seems to work very well, although I may still need to do a little more to smooth the trailer brake release. It causes a small jerk as the truck brakes release sooner than the trailer brakes especially under light braking conditions."
