Lil' Dog Coyote Call,

"I usually highly recomend PRIMOS calls, but this is the exception. I gave it a 3 star because of the "2 calls in one" design. I like how there are 2 pieces for long and short range. I also like the ability to do both distress calls of other animals, as well as the obvious yet various coyote calls. The things I didn't like about it was the 2nd day I used the short-range call (Green part) the reed wore out and became less and less distinctive. It now sounds like a dying duck in a coffee can. The long-range call (White part) still works, but not as well as when it first came out of the package. It might be a defect, or the call must not be properly made."

"these calls work really well with a little practice..i had a few responses the first time i used them while out in the field. when i heard the coyotes howl back my mind went blank and i forgot how to use the challenge howl...so before u use these in the field..i have 3 hints practice.. practice.. practice"

"This set of calls along with the instructional dvd work great for anyone looking to start predator calling. Randy Anderson does a great job going through some basic sounds and how to produce them on the video and the calls are capable of producing a wide variety of sounds. The video aslo provides a great resource for "tuning" your calling skills at the beginning of each season."

"I got this call in the mail on a wednesday and killed a coyote with it on thursday. I was impressed since it was the first time for me to use a howler. Listen to the cd, they have some good tips on the different calls you can make."

"I've been a small game hunter and bird hunter all my life. I have been a waterfowl guide for over 30 years. I just recently became interested in predator hunting. After checking out various call makers I think WILL PRIMOS and RANDY ANDERSON have without a doubt got together and put there heart and souls into all there calls and WOW there awesome and really work!! "This product is very easy to operate and has many different tones, depending on where your lips are on the call. I have not used this call in the field yet, but I trust it will work. As many other buyers have written, it is good to know the actual sound you are attempting to make before using in the field. I had no idea what a wounded rabbit sounded like before using this product."

"The white mouth piece is abosoulitly brialliant, tonight I called in 3 coyotes within 100 yards and shot thme all with a .17HMR. This makes the best distress sound of any coyote call Ive tried yet."

"this call is very very deadly "for the coyotes" the first time i used it i called in a pack of 4 coyotes and got a shot off but with my horrible aim i missed,but the calls versitility is awesome becuase i not only can do distress calls but i can howl!! great work primos! but the close range green call is a little tricky becuase of the amount of air needed, for example you dont need much air,but once you get that down your on your way to callin in predetors! good luck great call worth the money!"

"I bought these calls with no experience in predator hunting. I watched the video and practiced a few times. Went out coyote hunting a got a coyote within 80 yards. The video is awsome and helps alot. The calls are easy to learn and I look forward to using them again"

"This call(s) is great. I own all of Randy's calls and this is my favorite for making howls. It's much easier and more forgiving than the Hot Dog and produces less aggressive sounds. I come from an area not known for it's coyote population and this call brings them in, fast. Good buy as well..."
