"This is a great call! No complaints what so ever, It is easy to learn and if there are any coyotes in the area they will come in. I just bought this call this winter and have used it 4 times out and i was able to call two pairs in. Haven't been able to get any to call back but used the howl and a series of other calls to get them in. Mostly used the barks and the distress calls."

"The Primos Hot Dog predator call is a real nice piece of work, with some practice. If you expect immediate results plan to be disappointed. You do need a healthy set of lungs for this call, bbut it is a loud call and can be heard over quite a distance. With some work and practice I have had coyotes talking back to me during the night time hours."

"This call will get the job done but is far from being the best howler out there. I also have the Primos Lil Dog. It takes a lot less air to blow and is a good destress call. I have called many coyotes making distress sounds using just the green mouth piece."

"My favorite call, no close second.
Quick FYI. It is a very difficult call to use at first. Once you figure it out and practice for a while, I think you'll love it. Very wide range of sounds."

"Bought the pack that had the ki-yi with this one, but this is the only call I use. Makes all the same noises and sounds even better, not to mention the wide ranges of great sounding howls. I recommend this one to anyone who wants to learn to blow a mouth call for coyotes or other predators, bit of a learning curve but that's my only complaint."

"I will be honest, when I first started blowing on this call, I couldn't get it to work correctly and got very frustrated. I then figured out what I was doing wrong. I was using too much air. This call is very simple to use, requires very little air to operate, mimics many sounds useful for coyote hunting, and really works! I recommend this call to anyone who wants to start calling coyotes or anyone who wants to try a new coyote call. This one works!"

"I was very excited when I purchased the Hot Dog Coyote howler.Then after practicing with it for hours I started to lose my excitement for this call.The call takes a lot of air to use,and sounded more like a duck call to me.Since then I have purchased another howler and made great calls with in in a matter mintutes."

"I bought this call in a store and I can't tell you how excited I was. Yes it takes practice but it sounds to me like your patience is a wearing a little thin. I used this call last year and called in 4 or 5 coyotes and this year I am consistently calling or hearing coyotes. It took me a while to get good at it and I got the tones mastered.
I SAY BUY IT!!!"

"I have experienced with several different coyote calls and so
far this one is the best. It indeed takes some practice
time to get familiar with it. Once you get use to it, it
truly is a great sounding call that does much more than
just howls. The barks and ky-yi sound good too.
Volume is good, and I've had only minor problems with
reed freeze in sub zero temps. Very good call for the price."

Looks Can Be Decieving!!!,

"When I first saw this call in the store i was excited!!! It looked amazingly simple to run and looked like it could call a dog in from miles, but i saw wrong. When i took it out for the first time i had troubles hitting the tones that i wanted to, and also dragging the howl out, to be truthfull it sounded more like a horn than a coyote call. I have been calling coyotes for a while now and i have many of Randy's calls and I can work them with no problems what so ever. So if you are tempted to buy this call...proceed with caution...."
