"Mounted it on my rifle and zeroed. My speciality around here is ground squirrels, which in a worst case scenario can carry plague or rabies. Living as I do against the wilds I found it necessary to eliminate the critters, so a good zero on my scope is essential when the target is small. I said to myself that I wanted to hit inside of a quarter coin at thirty feet. I have easily achieved this. While I did find the mounts a little expensive, I have had good results with Cabela's as far as quality and them wasting no time shipping it. In short, Cabela's doesn't fool around. And neither should you."

"This mount needs to be shimmed on an older model Benjamin. We used a mid-guage brass sheet metal between the mount and the gun and it holds fine."

"These mounts are essentially an adapter between the non-standard mounting point on an air rifle and the standard scope mounts that would otherwise be used exclusively. They worked well and served their purpose. They were relatively easy to install. They were surprisingly expensive however. But, like many products, they are the only viable solution so the consumer has little or not choice. If you wish to use a scope on this air rifle you have to pay what they ask."

"I was hopeful that everything would fit when I ordered the scope mount separate from the scope and rings. It is frustrating, to be sure, when things do not go the way catalog descriptions would indicate. The two customer service people I conferred with while placing my order over the phone were helpful in double checking to make certain that the mount would be compatible with the scope (and rings) I was also ordering.
The mount fit perfectly and took on a few minutes to install. Then, also within a matter of a few minutes, the scope and rings attached without a hitch. I was putting pellets in the X ring by the tenth shot."

"I bought a pair of these to mount a red dot sight on my .177 pneumatic (my choice for both power and reduced noise - no sense irritating the neighbors!). Although I find they ride a bit high over the barrel the 'see through' feature allows iron sight use - barely. I find on my particular gun, windage requires the rear sight to be adjusted to the extreme right... almost out of the space provided to sight through the mounts. Quality is good; mounting is very simple. They work well when adjusted... a good thing after considering that these are the only mounts I have been able to find for this rifle for scope or red dot."

"I order all from Cabela, because I had alot of questions on this product. My father started me hunting when I was 6 and he now is unable to walk at age 83. He is almost bed riden. He still can open the glass doors and take his new Pelet gun to scare the hundreds of Squirrels in the back yard. His eye site is not as good as in the past, so I bought this sope mount for his 177 Benj. It was the perfect item to fit his desire, I see him smile once again as he makes the shot at futher distances. I was not sure about this product but wanted my dad to have the best. I went to Cabelas product support once I received the mounts as they didnt seem to fit. I got the support as always that I need and corrected my error. The squirrels in the back yard do not like the Cabelas support unit. They were once many now they are fewer. Thanks Cablea for only using superior products. I do believe this help you gave me on your product extended my fathers life and the product was perfect, durible and substained the abuse of an excited 83 year old father. Just ask the fewer squirrels in our back yard. Tks Cabela for carrying the best products."
