Very Easy to USE!!,

"I have never thrown a casting net before in my life. I purchased this net, watched the DVD, practiced once on the water, and then went out to catch some bait fish. Well...it worked I caught a whole bunch of bait fish and had a lot of fun too. This was easy to use and in no time I had enough bait to fish!!"

Worth the $$$$$,

"I'm pretty good with the old cast net but at times you have foul-ups. This net makes its more easy to throw and reduces the foul-ups. One draw-back is if your on a incline around the lake, it's somewhat harder to make a good throw becasue of the turn you have to make with the ring in your hand.
It's worth the money."

"I didn’t even have to watch the DVD, I just took it out to the river and within 10 minutes I was able to figure it out and had a bucket full of shad. I was worried at first because I had never used a net before but this is so easy to use. It is also very strong, I had it stuck on a large stick and it pulled it right out of the mud….. This was a great buy. I highly recommend it."

"Just got my cast net delivered. Watched the DVD and was eager to give it a try. Outside I go... First toss, not so good. Consulted the printed instructions (step-by-step pictures), and tried again. Second toss... near perfect. Third try couldn't have been better! WOW!!! I got this down within minutes of opening the handy carrying box. Couldn't be easier. Great product for a novice like me with little or no control of my flailing limbs. Nice video instructions. Can't wait to catch some shad and go for some big cats tomorrow! Highly recommend!"

"I orignally bought this net based on customer reviews on this site. Took a chance, since my cast net throwing was marginal at best.
THIS NET WORKS, BUY IT. It is about idiot proof if you pay attention to the DVD and follow it to the letter. Practiced a bit in the yard, IT WORKED. First throw didn't open to my liking. Second throw was perfect, and pulled up a NET FULL of alewives. Easily 50 4-6 inchers. Filled my 30 gallon creek bank tank. Next morning I "tore up" the stripers. Caught 15+ from daylight to 9am. That was 3 months ago and I continue to wear out the stripes and hybirds. Fishing alone I caught 56 in 4 days. Lost 25 or more when two rods took off at the same time and fish getting "unbit" etc.
I have a 5 ft net at present, going to get a 6 ft just for a spare. I practice 100% catch and release. Use circle hooks and cut off any fish with the hook beyond the lip. Use a green subermisble light !!!!! Takes a little longer to get bait in, but you get tons more in.
I don't have anything to gain or lose in this net. I just know it works for me."

"Over all a very good cast net. The aluminum ring greatly improved my ability to cast the net. Weights are something other than lead. This is good because it is lighter and makes it easier to cast. This is bad becaust the weights have already started to rust.
The best cast net I have ever owned, but I wish the weights were not rusting."

"This an easy way to learn to throw a cast net. My son had never picked up a cast net. On the first try threw a perfect cast. I would recommend the 4' over the larger diameter nets for bait. The 5' net will tire you out quicker and is not as easy to throw from a boat in MHO."

"I bought the mono 6" dia. last year and I loved using it, it wasn't that hard and with a little practice I was able to catch some bait.
I believe the 6' RADIUS was a mistake for my height (5'6") and am buying the 4' version today. does not work well over rock jetties (duh) but was great off the beach."

"I bought this throw net for my 11 year old son (who weighs about 100 pounds) for our Florida vacation, where he mostly used it to catch bait fish in a tide pool.
After reading the written directions and watching the instructions on the web site (the included CD wouldn't play on our computer) he was ready to go.
The 4 foot model worked great for a kid his size and was easy to use with the Accu-Throw Ring. He was casting great within about 10 minutes.
The Accu-Throw Ring is attached to the net with a rope that is tied around the aluminum ring. After one hour of use, the rope must have stretched and the ring fell off. I put it back on twice, tried to tighten the rope and get it back in it's original position, but it kept falling off.
My son was not deterred and kept casting it without the ring. In spite of the defect he was able to use the net and eventually became quite good without the ring. He had alot of fun and kept himself (and alot of other kids) entertained for days."
