A good training guide,

"Obviousely his formula works well. Although I find that he is using to much showpup by hand, you can change to the e-color training sooner and save time. Also he uses a lot of older techniques with ropes and this is time consuming. For the "whoa", if you do the "come"(with the e-colar)prior to the whoa, you can correct the dog when he sits or lays down(while on whoa) with the "come" and put him back righ away on the whoa. This way you don't need ropes around his belly or a push stick and you speed up your time by 5 folds. I do all my training with the colar on the neck of the dog, it works just as well. All and all I realy recommend this dvd because the instructions are complete."

"This DVD is one of the best I have seen. The only problem is it leaves a lot of questions unanswered...you'll understand when you watch the video. It will definitely help you train your pup the right way on birds. It helped refresh my memory, and a lot more. Highly recommended."

"I have spent a lot of money on bird dog training instructional infromation. By far this is the most comprehensive DVD I have purchased. Easy to follow and understand. You get the bird dogs perspective on training. It really takes you from start to finish, and it works when applied correctly. Great DVD, I would recommend it to any do it yourslef bird dog trainer. Even if your a pro I'm sure you would learn a little from this DVD. Good luck, I got to go my dogs on point!"
