REALLY WATERPROOF!!,December 3, 2008

"Bought this product in 2005 when I got back from Iraq. It was the 3 bank model. I installed it on a 1998 H56 Xpress. It is a breeze to operate, pretty much plug it in and forget it. It will automatically shut itsself off, which is a great feature if you are especially forgetful like myself. I too can attest to the fact that it is indeed WATERPROOF. forgot to take my plug out one evening, and that night, it was a torrential downpour. my boat was filled up past the side console with water. I immediately went to the back to unplug the charger (the extension cord and plug were attached to the rear deck lid). Raised the lid, and the charger showed that all batteries were charged, and green!! Another good feature is that if you have a batter "go bad", it will indicate within a minute or so of plugging the charger in, and blink on the bad bank. Would HIGHLY reccomend this product to any SERIOUS fisherman"

"These chargers are of high quality. This one was purchased to replace one that had been onboard my 17' Mako for over 10 years of salt water fishing. On the original installation, I had to call the manufacturer for advice and they were very helpful. I would buy another one if the need arises. I would also recommend this product to a friend. Of course that's one more reason to do business with Cabela's. Thanks!"

"This unit charges two batteries very quickly. The LED indicator lights let you view the current stage of the charging process. This new charger is exactly the same make and model as the old one on my boat. The old one lasted 11 years."
