"I was very pleased with the quality and performance of the PVC bow stop I bought to replace the rubber one on my boat trailer. The original bow stop split and I needed a replacement. The only problem I had was that the bolt supplied with the bow stop was too short. When it passed through the bow stop and the bracket, the bolt was not long enough to engage the plastic of the stop nut. I had to go to the local hardware store and buy a longer bolt to properly engage the stop nut. It appears that the durability of the PVC bow stop will be better than the original rubber one and it will not leave black marks on my boat."
