Excellent product for the price,May 30, 2009
By Dodgerbluefrom Los Angeles, CA
"We purchased this collapsible sink to wash dishes while camping at sites that did not have their own sinks, primarily in the desert where water is hard to come by. This sink has accompanied us on about 10 trips and we have not been dissapointed. The sink holds up to its claims and carries 6 gallons of water, without folding over or collapsing on itself. We have even used this sink to transport water from one spot to another while camping and the built in straps have never come loose under the weight. The best part is that when your trip is over you simply dry it out and fold it up to put away with your gear, hardly taking up any space at all. Prior to this we purchased the Coleman double wash basin and it was a nightmare. It did hold nearly the amount that was advertised and the walls constantly fell under its own weight. Buy this sink and you will be glad that you did."

"well constructed, excellent depth & diameter dimentions, different enough from the NRS big basin to compete effectively for the same market share, affordable, no corners to abrade from field use & folding, and GREEN- my favorite colour!!!"

Use of Small Collapsible Sinks,November 18, 2008
By KeithBSAfrom Charlotte, NC
"The sinks are portable but do not retain their shape very well with water in them. The smaller sinks unfold into a square shape but the frame does not maintain any rigidity when water & pans are in them. I think the larger sinks would a better investment."

Great addition to the Campers Deluxe Kitchen,November 15, 2008
By Aristarchusfrom Renton, WA
"I write a lot of reviews about how you can use Cabellas products together. If you have a Cabela's Deluxe Camper's Kitchen Item:XJ-518749, you can buy the rectangle collapsible sink and set it in the built in sink of the kitchen. This makes for a DOUBLE SINK! This allows you to soap and rinse just like at home. Plus, I just fold it up and store it along with the camper's kitchen. I love this product. At night I use it with a small tri-leg collapsible table to wash my face and shave in the morning. During the day, I set it up in the Porta Privy, for my guests to use as a rinse sink. Great product, thick rubber/plastic."

Indispensible Camp Sink,November 8, 2008
By PatriciaCfrom Florida
"I purchased the round camp sink for washing dishes but needed a container for rinsing them so I bought the square sink. The round sink is great and holds its shape with any amount of water in it. The square sink must be braced at the corners or it collapses and spills out the rinse water. It is more trouble than it is worth. Stick with the round sinks. They can be used as totes when you need to transport water to your campsite from a water source. I use this sink rather than the one in our camper."

collapsible camp kitchen,August 18, 2008
By mehoopanydave
"I, really like the sink, very useful and got many compliments on it. Only thing I,didn't like was if the table tops get wet from rain or too much water they swell up , because they are made of what looks like a compressed paper product . But a great product otherwise."

colapsable sink,August 13, 2008
By Inspectorlewfrom Phila Pa.
"I bought this product after reading other reviews and must say it's a great piece of equipment. Whether it's for washing dishes or yourself, or carrying water from a pump, it's quite useful. My buddy used it to keep minnows in as we fished. Only thing be warned about, be careful with sharp knives."

Camp Sink,July 20, 2008
By ctcamperfrom Madison, CT
"This camp sink wasn't really all that much help. Despite it's seemingly sturdy design, it didn't stand upright when full of water, so not too good as a sink. Should get the larges size made, perhaps that would be better. I think this was the 2.5 gallon size."

Round=Great; Square not so good,July 14, 2008
By vastechfrom Redding, CA
"I bought a round camp sink and the square pack sink. The round one is everything I hoped it would be and more. It worked so well that I decided to buy another one. Unfortunately, that other one is to replace the square one which has a lot of trouble holding water. If you have something to put it up against to hold the sides up, it would be slightly adequate, but truthfully, it does not stand up with water in it by itself.
The round one however stands up to the water being inside and has a large volume for a substantial amount of water. It was able to wash the dishes for our camp of 23 people.
If your going to buy any of these, just pay the extra and buy the round one."

Collapsible Camp Sink is a hit,June 23, 2008
By Intocmping
"My son and I went to Boundary Waters Canoe Area in Minnesota and took along a collapsible sink that I recently purchased from Cabela's. It was great to use away from the lakes as is required for camping in that area. We could wash dishes in it and then use it to catch the rain water flowing off of our tarp. That water came in handy for washing hands or any of the other camp needs. It did not take up much room in the backpack either. I recommend it for anyone wanting to travel light."
