"I got this jacket while on sale. What else could you ask for. I got the insulated with scent lok. Extremely warm, Quiet, Durable. Nice pockets, zippers, nice hood. Sizes measure pretty close to the chart. I ordered a 3XL in case i needed to layer up. Perfect. I went one size bigger."

"Overall this could be a really nice jacket with some simple improvements. This jacket would get a 4 star rating from me if the pockets were waterproof, but they are not. Not sure why, but seems the material for the pockets sewn on is NOT the same dry plus material that the rest of the jacket is made from and they filled partially with water in a drizzle, fortunately my radio in my pocket was waterproof.
Would also have been nice if the jacket had more than the 2 pockets, am used to using handwarmer pockets with the elite fleece super slam parka I bought this jacket to replace. This jacket is going back and being replaced with elite fleece super slam parka that costs a little more.
The jacket is very warm, but a little stiff around the collar area when fully zipped, and a little more noisy than expected, it is certainly not the same caliber as the elite fleece line. Possible that the noise factor might get better with a washing.
Don't know if the scent lok feature of the jacket performed well or not, did have deer downwind of me, but have had deer on the downwind side without scent lok many times in the past with good scent control practices."

"This Jacket is everything I have come to expect when ordering hunting clothes from Cabela's. I was suprised with how warm this was. In 14 degrees I needed very little else under it. Makes getting up on those cold mornings a little easier. Great for stand hunting but doubt that you would want to walk around it it too much."

"The pants and jacket are very warm. I spent 6 hours in 12 degrees with 25 mph wind and was comfortable the entire time. The jacket is long enough to prevent drafts when seated. The material isn't as quiet as I had hoped. The scent-lock seems to work. I had deer within 10 feet several times. Great value for the cost."

"If you plan on bowhunting or trying to get close to game you can not use this jacket. It is extremely loud, game spook when you draw your bow, touch a tree or any abrasion againts the jacket. It sounds like you wrapped a trash bag around you. I couldn't fit my hands in the pockets with gloves on either. It was warm and would be good for general use but not hunting. Therefore the scent lock is a waste of money for general use."

"This is by far the nicest, warmest, and most scent killing clothing I have ever bought. I had recently been caught up in some nasty weather, ice and rain, and was totally dry through out the hunt. I never would have thought that fleece could be so nice and yet not get hung up on anything either.
The only bad thing about this product line was the fact that I ordered this in Realtree AP and the ordered the pants. The problem was that they no longer carried the pants in that pattern and for it being such a high demand pattern, one would have thought that it would be highly available. Wrong, and in fact it seems that they have discontinued this item in Realtree AP????? That makes no sense to me and I tell ya, alot of people checked out my new jacket, and they asked me where they could get one. Too bad they aren't making it anymore. I had to get the pants in New Mossy Oak Breakup and they are just as awesome as the jacket. Too bad they don't match, but at 30' in the tree, who would notice??? LOL
Four stars since they don't have the pants in the same pattern as the jacket I ordered first."

"I needed a ScentLok jacket so I tried this. Jacket seems ok for the sale price, however I could use more than the two small pockets it comes with. A detachable hood would also be nice so you could take the somewhat bulky hood off when you don't need it. Also, this is a 'Dry-Plus' jacket, suitable for wet weather---you would have thought there would have been a storm flap over the main front zipper, (there is none). When I got caught in the rain it leaked considerably around and through the zipper. Other than that, it kept me dry."

"This hunting coat lives up to what Cabela's says it does. I was looking for something that would keep my mind off of how cold it is late in the season and on the task at hand... the buck infront of my stand! It kept me warm, dry, and my scent concealed. All very important to help make the hunt. The hood does not detach which would be nice if it did and it could use a few more pockets for gear. One other item to note is I got it in Advantage Timber and the overall color is green instead of brown when I compared it to my other A.T. hunting clothes. I thought this was a bit odd but it still is a great product. Which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5."

"let me be the first to tell you that this jacket is more than worth it . definitely a great buy. i spent several days out in the woods in rainy and cold conditions. in the past, these types of days i would find something else to do besides hunt. but with this jacket, i ll never have to think twice about it again.very warm. windproof and best of all, waterproof . im a huge skeptic when a product claims to be waterproof. but i can say firsthand..by george, i think they 've got something here. buy this coat and you WILL STAY WARM AND DRY . "I thought that both the jacket and pants were great. I wore them in below zero weather and they kept me really warm. The scent lok is awsome i had a deer come 5 yards away and walked right by, and had no clue i was there. I got the 3D secusion camo pattern and i had turkeys walk 5 yards from me and had no clue i was there. I would recommend this product to anyone."
