"We have used these Fleece products archery hunting for several years. They are the quietist on the market that is waterproof. The scent-lok makes these cloths a little heavier and warmer somethimes for early season hunting in 90+ degree weather. But the cloths breath well and the scent-lok full body gear including boots, pants, shirts, hoods and gloves get game almost stepping on us every year. The little extra weight is worth it. Especially when this Scent-Lok gear with the proper prep. using scent eliminating laundry and personal hygein products keep us scent free for days at a time when hunting deep in wilderness areas. We backpack in taking two sets of everything scent-lok and use each set four days. We use Cabela's products exclusivly because of the quality gear and customer service policy along with "SmartWool" socks (expensive but no itch and the warmest) If we have a problem with something purchased Cabelas mades it right and we don't get that here from our local sporting goods stores.
This past 2008 season archery hunting mule deer and elk in Idaho my son was stalking two monster mulies so big we thought they were elk when we first saw them. Two hours later out of the corner of his eye he caught this huge mulie 36" + come walking out through the timber accross into his sight line at 25 yds... The animal never new he was there. That how good this Scent-Lok cloths works. We go after them no matter the wind direction and get our game. Ever been lucky enough to sight mulies so big they always walk sneeking with their heads and antlers low to the ground. Thats what this scent-lok cloths does when maintained properly and you maintain your stealth.
Go in.. in the dark and come out in the dark.

"Pants are good except for someone decided it was a good idea to put zippers on the front two pockets? What happens is everytime you put your hands in or take your hands out of your pockets you rake your hands across the zippers, poor design. Keep you dry to a point, best as can be expected, I was hunting in a heavy rain last week and by the time I got home I was wet underneath the pants."

"I really like everything about these pants expect I would like to see that the bottom cuff had a snap to tighten the seam around my boots, and not so loss. I would recommed getting a belt or suspender to hold your pants up. The material is a little heavy being scent lok, makes them want to fall down. Overall the pants can't be beat."

"This is the only pair of pants you will ever need. I have wore these pants on hunts from Florida to BC to Chile back to Manitoba. These pants are quiet, water proof, and can be worn with light under wear or heavy if needed. The insulated version is a bit too heavy for all around use, unless stand hunting only. Buy a pair and when going hunting you will always grab them first."

"I can't believe it was so hard to buy a pair of rain proof camo pants with scent lok and bellows pockets. Lots of pants at good prices with the first two things but none had the bellows pockets. How do you bow hunt without those handy deep pockets on the side for your release, gloves, face mask, ect? Ever try reaching into your front pockets with a saftey harness on? Pants are very well made and reasonably priced but wish there were more choices of fabrics on the market to choose from with all three. Can't say enough about Scent Lok. 4 hunts so far this year and each time I have had multiple deer in bow range. Good Luck this year!"
