"i own a pair of these in advantage timber. the only problem i see with them is the camo pattern is not the same as pictured. mine are alot greener than expected. i have the full zip jacket also & it too is greener than expected. other than that, i like them both very much. only wish they had 2 back pockets."

"I wore these pants still hunting California blacktail deer in cool temperatures. Hill climbing makes you sweat even when it is cool, and that sweat stayed inside these pants for two days. They don't breathe at all! But the worst part of these pants and the matching jacket is that they are extremely noisy. It is no wonder I didn't get my buck this year!"

"A little too much room in the thighs and hips (look like parachut pants) and they should include a zipper at the leg opening. Could also use one more set of belt loops on each side in the back. I had a little dampness seapage on the thighs while fishing the Columbia, but not horrible. Overall the style, quality, fit, and comfort is very good. Make sure that when you order; you shorten your hem by 1/2 to 1" from normal inseam because the crotch sits lower then normal pants."

"Used these pants on northern mountain elk hunt. Found them too warm in moderate temps in the 45 F. range, especially when climbing with pack, don't seem to "breath" very well. Very durable in some very rough bush, no tears or abrasions. Definitely quiet. Good waterproofing in some torrential downpours. Found when hiking thru wet bush that the inner liner will absorb water from vegetation around your boots, and will wick upwards. The outer pant is definitely waterproof, but the liner is not.
Also have the matching jacket, and as described in my review of it, the outer material does not withstand any contact with open flame or sparks, and will melt/vaporize almost instantly.
Overall, very good value for the money"

"I took these pants to CO 9900' in September. They were great. It rained and hailed on us with temps from 40 - 65. These pants were great in such a range of conditions. "My new pants now have elastic in the waist. My previous pair, which did not have the elastic, have been great. Needed a new pair because I wasn't careful crossing a barb wire fence. They will be fine for most of my hunting, but needed to make sure I had a waterproof pair. I've been happy with the first pair and think the new pair will be better. I wear them all the time elk, mule deer and whitetail hunting. Have held up great and keep me dry. This way I do not need to carry rainpants. I also like the idea that I can have my exact inseam, I have shorter legs and this way I'm not dragging the bottom of the pants leg."

"I've used the Cabela's Revolution fleece for five years in Alaska. I live in and Hunt the southeast portion of the state that is known as a temperate rain forest. I spend a lot of time in the woods and 90 percent of the time it's raining. I've never had a problem with getting wet or cold when I wear this product. The zippered front pockets do have a tendancy to irritate cold hands, but thats only momentary, until you get your hands in the pocket. Thanks Cabela's for a quality garment.

"Best pants for sitting down in the snow or wet grass. They do the job, and burrs don't stick to them. Revolution fleece is still hot for spring turkeys, but at least they breathe and let the heat out when you stop moving. I wear them when still hunting elk during the late season, with just a lightweight long-john bottom under them and gaiters over my boots. The pockets are well designed and functional."

"These are by far the most comfortable pants I have ever worn! I am 6'6" and 250 pounds so it is quite difficult to find pants that fit. Cabelas custom fit the inseam to a 36. The main front pockets have zippers which is quite nice. The pants are very quiet, making it easy to maneuver on game. The waterproofing works very well. I sat on a snowy wet ground for a few hours when I went turkey hunting and came out dry. I highly recommend these pants! I must say even the uninsulated pants are warm so keep that in mind on where you will be wearing these pants."

"As the majority of other reviews have stated, these pants do as advertised being windproof, dry, and comfortable. They are not insulated, but the dry-plus layer adds to the thickness of the pants and thus the warmth, especially when moving. They are noisy, but I have determined that depends much on what is worn under them. They fit true to size, which I am happy about. A previous review mentioned that the newer models of this product could use an inside waistband material to help them stay up and in place like the older models had. That would be nice because they do weigh a bit more than regular fleece material pants. Overall, and especially for the price, they are a good buy."
