Like our popular Alaskan Guide sleeping pads, these thick, comfortable air beds include an innovative
self-inflating air chamber that eliminates the need for pumps. Just open the valve and the bed inflates
automatically. Deflates just as easily - open the valve, roll up, secure the attached compression straps and
close the valve. This pad is over 4" thick with a soft convoluted foam interior that insulates you from the
cold ground and cushions against bumps, rocks, sticks and uneven spots and provides maximum comfort.
It also makes a great spare bed at home or in the RV. The flocked PVC top keeps your sleeping bag from
sliding off during the night. Bottom is constructed of durable 150-denier polyester to guard against tears
and punctures. Oversized design accommodates large-framed campers, or join two or more pads together
using the attached hook-and-loop strips to create a larger sleeping surface that's perfect for couples.
Imported. Per two. Measures: 25"W x 76"L x 4"H. Weight: 7 lbs. 6 oz.

Cabela's Self-Inflating Air Bed - Per 2,September 26, 2008
By Tubbyturtlefrom MD
"This product is easy to use & inflates on its own. When using it as a double sleeping mat the Velcro holds the mats together fine but does leave a gap in between. Over all though we are happy with this product because you don't have to worry about having pumps or rechargeable pumps to inflate them. Has good feel & is just the right thickness."

4-Star nite in a Buick Enclave,September 13, 2008
By Catmandoefrom California
"My beautiful SUV crossover was intended to be a 'bedroom' when we go camping: finding a mattress that would fit in the generous cargo area was difficult as it is 48" wide. In addition, we required them to be small and portable. These truly fit the bill. Not only were they a perfect fit, they stayed in place due the strong Velcro tabs. They stayed beautifully inflated over the 4 nites of use. I would give them a 5 star rating except that when they arrived, one of the compressions straps tore away from the fabric-- causing concerns about leakage. So far so good..."

Awesome product,August 30, 2008
By HarleyUltrafrom Flushing, Michigan
"This is got the best thing since sliced bread. Could not believe how comfortable this product is. Also have a Coleman Air Mattress Bed from Cabelas with a 6 inch thick mattress and these are nicer to sleep on. Super easy to use and store and fit real nice on the luggage rack of our Ultra Classic"

Compliments Adventure 1 Truck Tent,July 17, 2008
By donjdgtfrom Near Williamsport, PA
"We purchased the pair of self-inflating beds to use in a short-bed Silverado pickup under the truck tent. These worked excellent with our sleeping bags in the hard-surfaced truck bed after putting thin closed-cell mats under them for a bit of under cushion that helped our side-sleeping sensitive hips. A first trial in our house on carpeting (no extra mats) worked excellent as well. Give them extra time to inflate and the 4 inch thickness is pretty accurate. We found that rolling up goes best by a once quick roll-up, close the valves, then unroll and re-roll to about a foot from the end, open the valves and roll the last foot before lastly closing the valves. (Fit better in the storage bags doing this). We also used these beds in our small travel trailer with inadequate foam matresses where we slept well on them. As we intended, the camping with the truck tent and these beds went very well and my wife and I look forward to future camping trips with them."

so far, so good!,July 15, 2008
By MidMichiganGrasserfrom Durand, Michigan
"I haven't used these mattresses yet on a camping trip. I inflated one of them at home when they arrived and it was very comfortable. It inflated slower than what I thought it would, but that's not a big deal. It also deflated and packed well into its bag. I can't wait to use them. I bought two...just in case. I figured if one was too narrow, I could hook them together and if one thickness was not enough, I could pile one on top of the other. Anyway, I'm satisfied so far. I'll let you know more after I actually camp with it!"

Self-Inflating airbeds,April 9, 2008
By SalmonSaverfrom Humboldt County, CA
"Ordered a pair of them and they stay connected and inflatted all night. Very good insulation from the cold ground. I have two slipped discs in my back and these pads are more comfortable on the ground than my cot is off the floor. Thanks for a product that does what it says."

Cabela's Self-Inflating Air Bed,October 1, 2007
By Lonetonefrom Umatilla, Oregon
"The self inflating air bed is quite comfortable on hard ground or in the back of a van. It inflates quite rapidly on its own and has two valves for easy inflation or deflation. The outer fabric is tough and durable. The only negative is it is quite heavy and would be relegated to use in a car-camping situation. It is much too heavy to use backpacking."

Happy Camper,August 29, 2007
By Gratefulfrom North West, WA
"My husband, son and I went on a three night camping trip. We bought these because we were tired of buying air beds that have always ended up deflating on us. When our package from Cabela's arrived we checked out one Self-Inflating Air Bed in our living room and it seemed surprisingly comfortable. It was hard for me to imagine something that rolls up so small could be that comfortable. On our camping trip the one we previously "tested out" actually self-inflated thicker and faster than the first time at home! We attached both self-inflating beds together easily and they along with our bedding stayed put for all three nights! Our family has never slept so good in a tent!!! Thank you for such a wonderful tent camping experience!"

PJ,August 1, 2007

"I have a nice travel trailer with bunk beds. However, the matresses that came with the trailer were uncomfortable, so I thought I'd try Cabelas Self Inflating Air Beds. They inflate to about 2.5 inches thick and they just fit in the bunk bed space. They are firm, yet very comfortable to sleep on... so much better than the stock trailer matresses. I am very pleased with how this worked out."

Motorcycle camping,July 26, 2007
By MotoCandyfrom Indianapolis, IN
"This product was very easy to use, we bought 2 to use together. It gave us more warmth than a regular airmattress has in the past. The 4 inch foam was very comfortable on my bad back. I slept great. It was easy to roll and stow away in our t-bag on the motorcycles."

a good night's sleep!,May 21, 2007
By therealmacfrom Greensboro, NC
"Cabela's self-inflating air bed ( per 2 ) is the most comfortable sleeping pad I have experienced in over 30 years of tent camping. 4" thick, a textured top surface that helps prevent sleeping bags from sliding, and adjustable surface tension from very firm ( after self-inflation, just blow in a few puffs of air and close the valve ) to whatever level of comfort you choose ( lay down on the inflated pad and open the valve a little at a time to decrease the surface tension to whatever feels best for you ). No more tossing and turning due to lack of comfort. The first time out I woke up 5 mornings out of 5 in the exact same position I went to sleep in. That's never happened to me before! I wish these pads were available 30 years ago. Thanks for providing a great product."
