"I used this for a 14 day deer and elk hunt in Idaho this Oct/Nov, with the xl cot also from Cabela's. This was a very comfortable set up, and I wished I would have bought this years ago."

"My wife has back problems and we received the bed just in time for the latest tent camping trip (8/21/09). It worked 100% - as shown. I fell asleep like a baby on both nights we used it.
I just purchased a used pop up camper (9/09/09) and we will use it on top of the current pad that is there.

"I've been camping for years, but as age catches up with
us a good nights sleep becomes more important. The old
inflatable air bed just wasn't getting it done any longer.
I found myself dead in the morning and needed a change.
I purchased a large size camp bed and gave it a try. From
the first night this matress proved to be a better nights
sleep than any air matress I have ever used. I you like a
firm sleeping mattress and don't mind the large size, this
is the ticket! Not to mention the foam doesn't move when
you or your wife rolls over. I now have two and can double
them up if need be to provide a full 6 inches of padding or
make a huge 8 feet wide bed. Very large, but very , very
comfortable."

"I ordered the Cabela's Deluxe Camp Bed without realizing how bulky it is. I oredered the 48' x 78" x 3" and when it arrived I realized that rolled up it was the size of my hot water heater. I'm sure it's comfortable and would be suitable for a guest bed but it is too big to take on a canoe trip. I boat camp a lot and that's what I needed a sleeping pad for."

"My wife and i have used a air bed for the last 8 years when we went camping. But the cabelas deluxe camp bed is a whole lot better, i was able to sleep for three nites in a row without my back hurting from that old air mattress."

"Being a car camper, I replaced my current air matress with this one.
First I want to say it was the best thing I ever did. Unbuckle the pad and you are ready to go in seconds as suppose to having to blow up an air matress, etc. It is also very warm and kept us much wamer and off the ground.
Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is due to the pad curling, it didn't lay quite flat, maybe this will change with more use but it did make for a bit of an issue with it touching the wet outside tent covering.
Otherwise it is great!"

"i recently made a trip to yosemite this would be my first time actually camping for a few days with the family. i am soo glad that i bought this product, i have a blow up cabelas bag which is great for one but since the family was going i needed a bigger place to put the wife and kid.
kids being kids , while jumping on my blow up, of course it gets a leak, so we were all relagated to the new bed. it wasnt quite big enough for three of us but it definately came through in the pinch, it is very comfy, it keeps the ground coldness off very well especially when it dropped into the low 30's and i was'nt quite prepared for that.
i like the bed because it will never LEAK, or lose air in cold nights.
the only draw back is that is quite large to pack if you are trying to keep things to a minimum, and the handle on it is great just wish they would have included some type of bag for it i see it getting dirty very easily.
all in all great product."

"I am 6'6" and I have a wife who is not big into sleeping in tents. This mat did an excellent job of dealing with both of my main conserns.
I fit on it and it smoothed out the rocky pad we had at our campsite at Yellowstone Nat. Park. Also it made the sleeping experence much more enjoyable for my wife. I would recoment it to any one, great product."

"Not a bad investment for the price. Its lightweight, easy to roll up and it gives you a good nights sleep. I wouldnt sleep on too many rocks with it, but on fairly smooth ground, it works good."

"We purchased two of these to use in my sons play room that is located over the garage. We wanted something for when his friends spend the night. I took a chance after reading the other reviews and it really paid off. We roll these things back up and put them in the closet after they are slept on. We have tried other types of sleeping pads/air mattresses and this one is the best. My wife loves the fact that we did not have to buy a pullout style couch for the playroom which would take up to much room. The pads were used for the first time the other night. My son called me the next morning at work to tell me how he slept all night and that he loves the pads."

"My Husband and I bought this for camping hoping we would be warmer on it than we were on a airbed. It is actually quite comfortable. And you definitely stay warm on it because it is solid foam. It's hard to store because it is so tall once you roll it up. Other than that it is wonderful for camping!"

"My brother has 3 or 4 of these and we have one, the recent purchase was for my daughter. We have camped for years and this bed is better than sleeping at home. The air mattress we used previously just did not work for us.
It does take up space to haul, but a good nights sleep in the timber is worth the sacrifice. It is also great when company comes and you need a spare bed."
