Cabela's Deluxe Camp Bed X2,

By DennD

"The Cabela's Deluxe Camp Bed lived up to its billing. I was at first sceptable about the thickness of the bed. But the dense foam pad provided all the cushion and support I had hoped for in a bed. The built in stow strapes are great. The bed covering is made of a thich and well made material. Bought two. Nice product."

"Nice roll bed, soft has or had no smell, product could of been a little longer and wider to accomidate the Cabelas cot I own, the bigger pad is to wide for the cot by a couple of inches on each side, and the straps should be sewen on the bottom end of the pad not the top where I felt them as I was laying down to sleep."

Deluxe Camp Bed,

"Not impressed, if you are used to a very firm bed then it is probably ok. I used it in the back of my truck and I could feel the ripples from the truck bed. So for the price I am sure there is some other better product."

Very comfortable,

"After researching all types of camp pads, I chose this camp bed over a self-inflating pad because you simply roll it out and you're ready to sleep. My daughter has also used it as a place to nap in my office. I do recommend using a blanket or Neat sheet under it to keep it clean."

Deluxe Camp Bed - Nice!,

"The smell will eventually air out. If you sweat, the moisture will pull to the opposite side. I think some of that is what people say regarding finding moisture underneath the next morning. It is very comfortable though."

Perfect,
December 2, 2008
By MelWP

"This bed is simply perfect for what I wanted it for. I don't use it for camping, so I can't attest to how heavy it might be to lug around. But as there is a bad mold problem in the bedroom of our apt, I have taken to sleeping on a couch in a mold-free room. I needed some sort of mattress that would fit an actual couch, and didn't want an air mattress of any sort. I had nearly given up when I stumbled on this product after 4 hours of web searching. I absolutely adore this camp bed--it is one of the best "mattresses" I have ever slept on. I'm sure it's just as comfortable on a hard surface, as I put two boards under it to stabilize it over the broken-down old sofa coils. The most ridiculous sleeping arrangement, but believe it or not I look forward to crawling onto this Camp Bed every night now--honestly the most comfortable sleep I've gotten in a long time."

"I was very happy with this sleeping pad. Good materials and construction. I would rate it at five stars if it was 10 inches longer. With a pillow at the end of the cot it is not to bad."

COMFORTABLE SLEEP PAD!,

"I have taken this mat out twice for two desert trips. It has kept me extremely comfortable. Much better than an air mattress. No noisy pump to deal with or wait time. Unstrap and BOOM...you be sleepin'! My only regret is not purchasing the larger size."

"I bought/received this bed roll a few days before heading off Elk hunting in Colorado. It is by far the best sleep I have had. The other stuff about the odor, well i left it outside for a day. When I put it in the tent I covered it with a blacket. The smell is not a problem."

Deluxe camp bed great but ad was misleading,
November 1, 2008
By atotabean
from Alexandria, VA

"I purchased this bed for overnight guests in my small apartment. I didn't realize that what I ordered was NOT a self-inflating pad. The pad when rolled is quite huge. I would have been 100% satisfied with my purchase if it were self-inflating. The ad writeup confused me as it was listed I believe under self-inflating pads. The mattress is very comfortable though. My only gripe is that it's not self-inflating. The package arrived within one week. I'm satisfied with the shipping service."

Cabela's Deluxe Camp Bed,
September 22, 2008
By DoahRat
from Northern VA

"I usually sleep on a cot when I'm out on multi-day river/camping trips and I've been looking for a really good pad to go on my cot, I've tried blowup pads, self inhalators, have even used air mattresses. They all fell short of what I was looking for as far as comfort goes. But I borrowed a friend's spare pad on a trip we took this Spring on the Allegheny. He has the same pad on his Cabela's tent-cot and swears by it. He said he had even used it flat on the ground in Iowa on Pheasant hunts and said he felt absolutely nothing underneath of him. So I figured I'd put him on the spot and try it for a night flat on the bottom of my tent...ya know what?...he was right! I slept like a log for 4 days and never even bothered to put up my cot!. I bought one of these just a month ago and I'll be using it for the first time (well, THIS one anyway) this weekend. I would HIGHLY recommend this pad for car/truck camping and I have a feeling I won't be camping from here on out without one."

Well pleased!,

"Absolutely one of the best purchases of camping gear that I have ever made!! I am just getting back into camping after a 15 yr hiatus. This a purchase that I have long needed to make. No exceptions! No problems. No qualifiers. No regrets. I have now spent a total of three nights out in a tent , on the ground with this matress between me and the ground, I am more than pleased. Thank you, Cabelas. Good price. Good product. Good choice."
