"I purchased this item to add to my dog's first aide kit. However, there were no instructions included with it. I have sutured a tear in my dog's hide without instructions, so I guess I will learn by doing."

"I bought this as a medic " in case of emergency" tool with our 5 versatile hunting pointers in hopes that we never need it. Even though a few reviews complained that there are no detailed instructions, it operates the same as a regular staple gun, staples towards the flesh and press the handle down - fairly simple and if it was despritely needed, you would figure out how to use it in a hurry. Comes in its own handy case and it is kept with our first aid kit. If you know of anyone who goes outdoors fishing, hunting or even dog training - they will appreciate this product - one serious cut and it will pay for itself 10 fold"

"just like my life insurance policy, i hope not to use this product in the near future
the packaging is lightweight and waterproof. the kit looks just like the professional one they used on me before an elk hunt a few years ago. the staples held well for 10 days. i hope i do not test the performance of this product any time soon, but now if i need it...."

"THIS PRODUCT IS SEALED TO STAY SANITARY.
BUT I DO NOT SEE ANY INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE IT.
THEREFORE I WON'T BE ABLE TO FIGURE IT OUT UNTIL
I NEED IT. WHICH IS WHEN AN ACCIDENT OCCURS. SO I

"Unfortunately, I had to use this on my dog. She ripped her leg open on a barbed wire fence. The wound was about 4 inches long and it would have been hours before we could get her to a vet because of our location. The staples are small and sharp enough that she didn't even jump when stapling the wound shut. You don't really need instructions. It's self explanitory. The kit comes with a staple remover that also works very well. I'm ordering another kit just in case it happens again to the dog or if I have to use it on myself..."

"As a outdoors type on warfarin for life. I purchased this product to have on hand along with a clotting agent. The slip of a knife, a fall on a sharp rock or another similar incident can happen anytime. When will any help arrive to assist? You may be in the field alone as I am many times and it may take a while before any one realizes you may be injured. I am glad that it is a 3M product, so it is of quality. It is now an addition to my 1st Aid Pack when I head out just about anywhere."

"Where were the directions??? The thought of using this on your pet is bad enough but, without any instructions, thats even worse!
I would only attempt to use this in the absolute worst case scenario"

"I have not used the product yet. I love to work in my woodworking shop and I live a considerable distance from a town. In the event I do suffer a severe cut, this little gem could very well be a life saver. It will also accompany me on trips afield."
