"Complicated instructions and poor adhesive. DOES NOT KEEP WATER FROM GETTING UNDER CAMO....therfore your gun will eventually rust. Don't bother with it. I took both my kits back."

"The kit was hard to use & some of the directions were not very clear. Could not get all the wrinkles out no matter how much heat I applied with a hair dryer. Spent about two hours working on the gun with the kit. My son in law used the gun goose hunting & had trouble because the for arm was slippery with this on it. The gun is pump gun, one that I just purchased at your store about two months ago. Next time I will try to buy a gun that has the painted camo on it.

"This kit is worthless !
It is nothing but a junk, the ends curl up when you apply heat. It just look ridiculously cheap and unprofessional. I had to remove it from the first time I tried to install it. It simply does not work, and does not worth.
This is the first junk thing I have bought from Cabelas."

"OK at first, used it on three hunts and on the third one it rained. When I got home I noticed it had let water inside of it. Had to cut it off after just three hunts. Save your money, don't but this"

The ends all curl up. There is no way to fit this onto a rifle or shotgun that does not look ridiculously cheap and unprofessional."

"this is the most horrible wrappin system i have bought. it is VERY hard to work with. when it shrinks onto the gun it doesnt produce a tight seal and tends to slide on the barrel. i will not waste my money on this wap ever. go with the tape type of wraps"

"Great product. However, had trouble applying to the wooden pump. This product could use more detailed instuctions for applying the camo to the pump handle while keeping it out of the way of the pump action. Required a lot of trial and error. Other than than it appears to do the trick"

"Placed the kit in an 870 and loved the results. It looks almost as good as my 535 tactical in factory break up. The kit came with concise easy to follow directions and took around 20 minutes to complete. Will purchase again in the future for my camo needs!!!"

"It's OK I guess. There were no hidden promises about this item, it installs easily enough, not a perfect unwrinkled fit but does the job as a temorary fix. Seems durable enough to last for a season or two if you don't have money to purchase a new gun. Recommended and price is right."

"I was really disappointed with the product. The installation instructions were good. There were not enough adhesive strips provided to complete the job. I ended up splitting the strips in half and barely had enough to cover my pump shotgun. The finished product was not very attractive due to wrinkles and lumps. The finish is very slick and might tough to hang onto to in the mist or rain. I have removed it from my shotgun. I think you would be better off to buy a paint kit or a camo finished gun!"

"I found this to be hard to put on and if you leave the heat on it to long it pulls away from the tape. Also there was not enought of the tape to cover the gun. I used all of it trying to cover the ejection port on the gun. Not a good product"

"This was the worst thing for my old gun. I wanted a more waterfowl friendly gun and thought this would be good enough. Wrong. The edges crinkle and roll over on themselves. Do not buy. Unless you want you gun to rust, dont buy. Water can get between cheap plasticy shrink wrap garbage."

"Don’t bother with this product it’s a complete waste of your money and time – not easy to apply – not smooth – and it does not remove or clean up easily – I couldn’t even get past the barrel application without problems – I ended up putting my old gun sock back on for the turkey season ."
