Winchester does it again,
November 19, 2009
By RetiredUSMC07
from Jacksonville, NC

"As always, winchester provides a product unmatched by anyone else. I have shot and reloaded several other name brands, and I have yet to find anyone that can match the quality and percision of winchester. I reciever my unprimed brass in a timely manner from cabelas and after checking over my order, I was able to start reloading almost immediately. Thanks again to Cabelas for carring top of the line reloading supplies."

Good Brass,
September 10, 2009
By Chymist
from Afton, OK
|
"As a benchrest shooter I almost always use Remington brass in matches because of its consistancy [uniformity]. Even so, Hours are spent screening, preparing and working over 100 or so cases of which around 25-50 survive as good enough to use.
However, for hunting I prefer Winchester brass because it is harder and springer than most other brass and it's case volume is larger than other brands [brass is thinner]. This means that the brass holds up better under field conditions and ensures that when handbook information is strictly followed [never, ever, overload] the cartridge will not generate too much pressure on hot days. Under field conditions the notion of benchrest accuracy is necessary is just plain foolish. Safety and suitability rule hunting.
I also have had fine experience with the new Nosler brass."

Winchester Unprimed Rifle Brass 300 WSM,
July 23, 2009
By mafufa
from Mentone, California
|
"Winchester brass is the easiest to prepare to load, one trip through the resizer die and it was ready to load. I deburred the inside primer hole and loaded 50 rounds. After fireing the ammo I found that they did not strech and did not need to be trimmed for the next reload. I shot excellent groups with the first load and antisipate the same with the next now that they are fire formed. Over all I would highly reccommend Winchester brass to any reloader."

Brass forms just fine.,

"I purchased 308 Win brass to run through dies for a 338 Federal. With a little lube and one pass, I could continue reloading and they shot great. I've not reloaded but one time yet so I don't know how many reloads are there with case throat being stretched out to .338"

270wsm Winchester's unprimed brass,
June 30, 2009
By FTMhunter
from Winnemucca, Nevada
|
"I have been reloading over 25 years. The recent 200 rounds of 270WSM Brass I received had many deformities, 1st approximately 20% were severely over-length .030 to .075. approximately 5% would not fit into the shell plate and 4 had severe neck deformities. If you need brass and decide to use Winchester's, be sure to examine closely before reloading."

Great Brass,
June 22, 2009
By RobertK79
from Colroado
|
"I received 100 pieces of Winchester Brass and am very pleased with the quality of the brass and the condition in which it arrived. None of the brass was damaged in any way and all is bright and shiny inside and out. All 100 pieces of brass were with in .005 of each other. Over all I am very pleased with the brass and plan to order much more."

Excellent Buy,
April 24, 2009
By AKAE
from Kenai, AK
|
"I was extremely pleased with this brass. In the two bags I bought, only two shells were found to have minor dents; nothing that prevented using them. I always mic, size and trim my brass before even the first loading. This brass was as consistent as the match brass I've purchased in the past. The only flaw I noted was that some of the case mouths would need reaming to remove the roughness. Loads performed as well with these, as with the match brass- less than 1 MOA."
