"I usually don't have any trouble with Winchester's bulk brass. However, had to return this bag, the extractor groove on 40 of the cases were over size. Only ten would fit in my RCBS shell holder (the same shell holder I've used for the last twenty plus years). A micrometer check confirmed the problem. The ten that fit were within SAAMi spec's.
Anyone else run into this problem?"

"I was very dissapointed with Winchester's Brass (WSC243WU 50 count) Lot #"s 1CF91 & 1CF42. I purchased (4) Bags and out of 200 cartridges 10 were so deformed ( crushed or split shoulders & necks) I tossed them. Like many others I found an alarming number of the cartridges dented , and needing some cleaning-up. Most commonly I found the NECKS to be very rough ( small splits and out of round). I did call Winchester and explained my concerns about this product and they asked me to send them the damaged cartridges. I did save one so thats what they are getting. As of this writing I have not recieved a response."

"I have purchased alot of winchester brass from cabelas and they were excellent, but this last batch must of been the bottom of the casel. Very poor. Most had to be resized and trimed and several had split necks. very poor quality."

"As always I have had great success with this brass.
I requires very little to get ready for loading. Just clean up the case mouths, prime the brass and load.

"I am new to reloading. I have just run about 80 new 300 WSM brass through my press for full length sizing. I have read older reviews that stated the quality was poor. Maybe Winchester had a bad run. These were bought at the Hoffman Estates store (along w/ a partial set in the Bargin cave for a cheaper price). I had no issues with the factory sealed bag. All ran through and sized well. All were clean with no dents, only a few out of round mouths. These should provide a good amount to reload. I especially like the fact they come in lots of 50. That is convienient for magnum rounds for a guy that likes to shoot, but does not get out often. I expect to set these rounds up for deer hunting this fall, and hopefully another elk hunt in the future."
