"The positives for Winchester Brass are it is readily available and priced very well. The negatives are inconsistent quality. Sometimes the brass is in good shape for reloading other times I have thrown away 20% of a bag due to casing dents that won't come out when you resize. Other brands seem to have more consistent quality but usually cost more."

"Been reloading for 50yrs. first time I've had to toss out seven cases from a batch of 1oo. Had crushed cases, split necks, andeven part of one neck was missing brass. Must have gotten a real bad batch. The cases that I could use were OK."

"I back-ordered 1000 Winchester 22 Hornet brass back in April 2009 and it took a while to finally get them, but it takes a while to anything guns or ammo these days. Anyway, when I finally got them they were in excellent condition and I am very pleased with Cabela's first come first serve service. Other companies won't even put you on a waiteing list if they are backed up too far on back-orders, but Cabela's will. You just need to put in your order and be paitient, it' ll come."

"likely the best brass available but have not been able to use it do to the powder, bullet, and primer shortage they are sitting collecting dust.
I do how ever have my order in for the rest of the components and I'm sure I will recieve them soon as they are recieved by Cablela"s I know they are doing the best they can to fill orders."

"i bought this brass because the remington brass was unavailable and i should have waited on average at least 2 casing had cracked or crumbled neck and about have of the necks were dented. on average remington will send you on extra case but winchester sends you even 100. it just aggrevates me when i cant reload all of them. also the i have reloaded several in 204 and after about 2 or three reloading i get several split necks. they are cheeper to start with but i think they are more expensive in the long run. I will stick with remington or hornady."
