"Installed securely with locktite but part failed and expensive scope hit the concrete. Maybe be okay with very small scope but beware of falling optics."

ATI .303 Enfield No. 1 scope mount,July 29, 2009

"I used this product on an Austrialian (Lithgow, 1943 date) Enfield. The mount was easy to install; it required only a light tap with a nylon hammer to get it fully seated. After the first range session, I re-tightened the screws and the mount remains tight. I did have to shim the rear rings to correct the elevation, which is not unusual with these military rifles. Overall, this is a very sturdy, easy to install product that is well worth the price."

"This mount is great......you dont have to drill any holes. I did have to do a little grinding and fitting with a Dremel to get it level with the center line of the barrel, it took a few hours of grinding and polishing a little at a time to get it right. The neat thing about this mount is no drilling and tapping. I shot it till I could not take any more. It never moved a hair. You dont have to ruin the value of your Enfield to put a scope on it"

"The mount was easy to install and fit perfectly. The only problem I had was when I tried to sight in the scope the mount had to be re-tightened often. I put some loctite on the mounting screws and think that will do the trick. Can't wait to try it again."

"I was one of the "lucky" ones whose Enfield required the judicious application of the plastic-headed hammer to seat the mount into the receiver. Nothing strenuous, just a few "light encouragements" and there she was! Scope mounted and aligned fore/aft just fine, and looks outstanding! Can't wait to sight her in, and see how the mounting set screws hold up! BTW, the bolt action ejection continues to work perfectly, which was of some prior concern for me!"
