The optical and mechanical tolerances of these riflescopes are so close and tight you'll enjoy unparalled accuracy and consistency when in the field or at the range under any conditions. And now there is a model available with an Illuminated Reticle for high visibility in low-light conditions. All lenses are pure grades of optical glass, ground and polished to exacting standards for a perfect optical curve. Each is then chemically multicoated (including the
outer surface) to eliminate glare and reflections and to provide maximum light transmission. Finger-adjustable, 1/8"-MOA windage and elevation adjustments are oversized, so they can be manipulated even when wearing gloves. The adjustments are so precise, you can be sure each click will be consistent with the others. And the system is strong enough to hold zero through years of shooting. The super-smooth zoom mechanism stays on target when changing power. The tracking cells, which secure the lenses, fit into the tube with absolute minimum tolerances. They won't shift under recoil, so your point of impact stays solid. The nitrogen-filled scope chambers are multiple sealed, which ensures they will
remain both water- and fogproof . An adjustable objective eliminates parallax problems. Each scope includes two (3" and 5") sunshades that can be screwed together for extra glare reduction. The generous eye relief reduces tunnel vision. Includes screw-on metal dust caps.

8-32x44 Mil-Dot Target/Varmit scope,February 22, 2009
By devildogdenverfrom Roswell, NM
"I shopped around for many scopes before stumbling onto the BSA Platinum series. Was scepticle about quality for the price but ordered anyway. I've mounted it on my Bushmaster AR Varmiter and have been thoroughly impressed with it's performance. After puting it on paper and five shots later having a 1/4 " group at 150 yards i was no longer scepticle. The 1/8 " MOA adjustments are perfect for flat country coyote shooting out to 500 yards easly with the help from the mil-dot recticle. Good scope for the money, although it's no Swarovski. Only thing I would change is the screw on covers, slow and easly crossthreaded but can be fixed with aftermarket slip on's. Pleased costomer."

"Please quit writting good reviews for this BSA scope. The price will only go up I have this monted on a Rem 700 7MM mag, and it is great!!! Over 150 rounds fired at 300 to 1000 yrds, I love it. Clear image, easy to use, I like the 1/8th MOA. YOU CANNOT COME CLOSE TO A SCOPE OF THIS QUALITY FOR TWICE THE MONEY."

BSA PLATINUM RIFLE SCOPE,February 19, 2008
By Tennstevefrom Tennessee
"Excellent scope for what I am using it for. I am using it on a 12GA shotgun shooting at 17 yrds. Beats Leopiod and other Brand name scopes because it has an OJ lenses which lets it focus at that short yardage. Highly recommend if you do any "TURKEY" shoots."

Much to my surprise WOW!!!,January 13, 2008
By budgethunterfrom Queen Creek AZ
"I have been shooting with a 6-24X44 for nearly one year and love it. I traded for Remington Sendero 270WIN that had this scope on it and immediately wanted to pulll it off because it was a BSA.
I have zeored it at 300yrds and often shoot out to 750yrds, I have been replacing all of my hunting scopes with Nikon Monarchs but this one will probably be left where it is. Great scope for the $$$. The range finder parallex option is hard to turn but works great and is fairly close to the actual yardage.
I also use this as a spotting scope when sighting in my 223 at 200yrds you can easily see the small .223 holes in the paper. (with Bipod)
Love it for the price may upgrade to a 5-20X50 Nikon but it may not be any clearer, and cost 4X as much?"

Great scope for the cost,December 28, 2007
By sip99mfrom Newhalem, WA
"This scope has gone through a love/hate relationship with me...here are the pros and cons:
Pros: EXTREMELY accurate, and once on target, it stays on target. I love the night sight option (the reticle glows red when turned on). There are so many things on this scope that are able to be adjusted.
Cons: There are so many things on this scope that are able to be adjusted. The instructions that come with the scope are (as is typical) written for a NASA scientist, and are impossible to understand. It took me FOREVER to get this scope sighted in because there are so many things to tweak.
Overall, I ended up loving this scope, and would recommend it, but be prepared to spend some extra time sighting it in."

BSA Platinum Target Rifle Scope,April 9, 2007
By sempeltura
"The scope had clear optics but some of the knobs didn't line up, apparently it was defective. Also it didn't open up real sharp and there was a lot of black when you looked through it, in spite of the 44mm objective."

BSA Platinum Target Riflescopes,December 7, 2006
By McCranefrom Ft Hood Tx.
"I have use a few scopes on different rifles and all though this is not the greatest scope on the market, for a mid ranged priced scope it is one of the best I've used to date. The image is the clearest I've seen in a scope at this price range. It's ruged enough for field use or just target shooting It's good for close range as well as long range shooting."

BSA Target Scope,November 10, 2006
By phillip8364
"I purchased my BSA Scope (8-32 power) about 3 years ago. I mounted it on my Marlin Rimfire Rifle (17 HMR). This combination works great for Varmint hunting. Target acquisition on higher powers takes some getting use to. After starting on lower powers (16-18 power) it was easier to do target acquistion, and get use to the higher powers. My Scope came with 2 Sun Shades (3"&5"), this made shooting in bright sunny days a lot easier. The Finger-adjustable 1/8" MOA are great for making miner adjustments to the windage and elevation when target shooting or hunting without having to remove the caps. After zeroing your Rifle, the Turrets can be losen and set back to zeros. Me and my sons have elimated alot of Varmints with this combination. For less than $200.00 this is a great deal."
