"i own and have recommended these ear muffs. they offer great hearing protection, especially when firing magnum calibers. they do tend once in a while to slightly interfere when resting your cheek on the stock, but a little adjustment is all it takes. best used for sighting in guns when quick target acquistiion isn't critical. if i need quickness i would go with a smaller ear cup size. would buy and use them any day."

"I actually purchased these items for business reasons. We own a small print shop with a large folding machine that is loud. We needed something to protect ourselves and employees. These Peltor hearing protection work great. The noise is reduced alot and comfortable to wear. I have also taken a set with me to the pistol range and they work well for indoor practicing. A nice product at a good price."

"These muffs protected my hearing very well--I used them while firing a .45 ACP as well as a .223 rifle. The only mixed reaction I have regards their bulk: not a problem obviously with handguns but a potential issue when shooting rifles."

"this is my second pair of hearing protectors as I lst my old pair. Now , how can a person lose your hearing protectors. My hunting and target shooting partner shoot a lot during a year so I need protection. I will admit though that I use plugs under the muffs. I have been using Cabela's products for many years and always liked their performance. Thank you J.R. Lu"

"Very happy with these Hearing Protection devices. I think they are worth the price. I am a part time audio engineer and recognize the need to protect my ears. Used them at the range last week and shot 110 rounds of .40S&W along with a number of rounds from a .45 and 9mm and found that they did a good job of protecting my ears. They were also comfortable and did not cause any fatigue to my ears. Bought a second pare for my wife to use when she is shooting here Sig P228 9mm."

"I am happy with the purchase. I combine the Ultimate 10 with disposable ear plugs. The Ultimate 10 is very comfortable and the combination gives good noise attenuation. I can still hear people speaking."

"I bought this pair and a Howard Leight Leightning L3 Hearing Protector. I like Howard Leight better because it's not too tight on my head. My wife likes the Peltor better though. Both eliminate the sound beautifully and you can't go wrong with either."

"As someone who jacked his hearing some years back by foregoing protection I wanted a product that worked as advertised. I'm impressed because it silences the shot but allows for communication. The Bull's Eye is comfortable to wear and priced right. If you can live with the blue color this is the one."
