Crimson trace grip,November 19, 2009
By Aviator2
"I had a crimson trace grip on another revolver since 2005 and was pleased with the design and fit.The laser is bright enough to see in daylight and not dazzling at night. When I bought a new gun recently, I immediately ordered the appropriate crimson trace grip and have fitted it. No problems with either yet."

"Fit and finish are excellent. The instructions for adjustment could be more detailed as I had to contact the company for more information. There is no difference to the feel of the grip with the sight installed."

Crimson Trace Laser Grips for 1911 .45 ACP,October 7, 2009
By SouthernCoastofOregonfrom Southern Coast of Oregon
"As a person who has a high end 1911, I would not have been satisfied with any thing less than a great replacement hand grips that "feels right" in my hands, preforms flawlessly and looks like it belongs on my pistol.
Crimson Trace has far exceeded my expectations for its functionality as a laser grip (not one issue, zip zilch nada). Not only are these replacements right at home in my hands, they are ascetically pleasing as well. CT gives you a very solid red dot (not a large fuzzy one), that is visible at high noon at 50 feet. Night shooting will give you a dot as far as you naked eye can see.
I have used other brands that work well, so-so, and some are junk, but CT is the only one that does this job flawlessly without sacrificing other mounting areas in/on the pistol.
I would absolutely endorse the product. It is worth every last penny they ask for.
What is your life worth to you?"

Review 7 for Crimson Trace High-Brightness Lasergrips
"The grip was very easy to install. The required tool to press out the factory pin and install the supplied pin worked as expected. The pistol's grip does not feel altered in any way after the installation of the laser. It is hard to see the dot on the target in bright sunlight, but I would expect that it's true use would be in low light, indoors, and at short range. I can't wait to deer hunt with the pistol this fall!"

Size?,August 19, 2009
By vallllofrom San Juan Puerto Rico, USA
"The Lasergrip for this model is advertised as "..same size as the factory grips...". In the interests of efficiency and to make the product cheaper to manufacture and sell, this grip is designed to fit S&W's both "K" and "N" frames. As such, maybe it IS the size of one of the factory grips, but it sure wasn't the size of the original grips of my model 65. Maybe I'll get used to it, but haven't yet. The laser works great, and the grips fit tight, with no wobble. So other than being bigger than I would have wished, they are OK. If I have to modify the shape I will, as I've gotten used to the laser on another S&W and I reall want that there for my carry, "go to" gun."

CTC Laser Grips,August 17, 2009
By MRFranksfrom Northern California
"I avoided any type of directed laser for sighting and shooting my revolvers, but my aged eyes became too much of a burden when it came time to get a sight picture. These grips are mounted on my S&W Model 22, and after initial laser-sighting (with an unloaded weapon) at home, I shot for registration at my local range and was able to get zeroed in less than a cylinder. After zeroing, I had fun putting the laser dot on the target and firing with both eyes open--something I hadn't been able to do in years. The laser stayed zeroed throughout the shooting session of 150 rounds which included standard 230gr hardball .45ACP, .45ACP 230gr +P loads, and some heavy hitting .45AR 255gr +P loads. The laser lit up as soon as I gripped the revolver, and deactivated when I released my grip. This is a quality product, and one I'd highly recommend to any senior shooters as well as friends."

laser girips,July 15, 2009
By wasudavfrom hopeNY
"Easy to mount on pistol. However, stated they were factory sited and the target was way off. I am having difficulty getting it sighted as the tiny area and tool makes it difficult. As an alone female this is not easy for me. Would have been nice to have been close to target sighted."

I LIKED IT,July 14, 2009

"The unit was easy to install and adjust and was all and more than I expected it to be. My only complaint was that the dot was not as sharply defined (not perfectly round) as I would like but still very useful."

Crimson Trace Laser Grips,July 6, 2009
By Ednodiefrom La Habra, CA
"I bought a set of these grips for my Smith & Wesson 1911. I bought them because I suffer from middle-aged far-sightedness and I can no longer clearly see my sights. I am very happy with the grips. They are as easy to install and adjust as advertised. And I am very happy with the performance. My finger falls easily on the activation button when I grip the pistol. The "spot" is easy to see and makes a good point of aim. It also makes it natural to look over the top of the pistol and "point" rather than "aim", as you do with sights. But there a couple of negatives. First, the instructions say that you shouldn't clean the gun with the grips on. So you have to remove the grips to clean it. I haven't done that yet but I expect that some amount of re-adjustment will be needed to get them precisely back on target. The other drawback is that they are slightly thicker than the standard grips. With my small hands, this is just enough to make reaching the mag release awkward."

Ruger .380 Laser sight,June 30, 2009
By GobblerChaserfrom AR
"I really like the laser sight. It is easy to install, zero, and use. The only negative is that there should be a way to turn it off so it will not accidentally run the battery down when the on button happens to press something while in a pocket or holster. Other than that I would give it a 5 star rating. It really makes the Ruger .380 much easier to acquire a target and hit that target."

Crimson Trace on a S&W J-Frame Revolver,April 20, 2009
By Tacmanfrom Southern Maine.
"Excellent build quality, finish, and fit on the revolver. Easy to install. Switch function is positive and without flaws. Having the ability to deactivate the laser with the secondary swich on the butt is helpful. The grip feels secure in the hand and points well. My only complaint is that with my trigger finger extended outside the trigger guard while scanning in the guard position, it can block the transmission of the laser beam. This requires a conscious alteration of my trigger finger position. When I am sights-on-target with my finger on the trigger, the beam is unimpeded and is quite bright and visible in daylight. Overall a useful tool, but some training and forethought in regards to it's tactical use and deployment is required."
