"The forearm did not fit the action slide. There are two different forearms for this shotgun and the add indicated that the forearm would fit a gun made prior to 1995. Mine was made in the "70s", and the fit was way to small. I sent it back."

"I bought this for a 1993 A-500G, for which it didn't come CLOSE to fitting...the product description doesn't say specifically what model(s) it's for. Thankfully i also have an old (1950s) Belgium made A-5 that i also needed to replace the stock on....worked out in the end! Good product and easily paintable."

"When I first recieved the stock kit the butt-stock would not fitt with the bolt, because the washer dident fit because of some exess plastic but after you file it down it fits perfect and feels very light and smooth. thanks Ram-Line and thanks Cabelas."

Will not fit some older A-5s,

"Purchased this to try and give some new life to an old Browning Auto 5. Forearm fit well but the butt stock didn't fit at all. Contacted manufacturer and they said this did not fit older Belgium made auto 5s. Would take significant modification to fit so I am returning it to Cabelas. Looks like a great product, Cabelas should include a note about this not fitting all Auto 5s though."

"Used the "In-Store Pickup" option and it worked well. Stocks fit well, needed minor file work so the butt stock bolt would go through the hole. Dressed up this old shotgun."

"I wanted to go with a synthetic stock for many reasons and after lots of searching I found only a couple manufactures for my model of shotgun Ramline being one of them overall the product is excellent fit and finish leaves a bit to be desired but for the price I dont think it can be beaten."

"Stock was easy to install, fit was exact. Length and drop very close to the original. For the price, this is an excellent replacement stock for the Browning Auto-5. My original stock was badly cracked, and the price of a replacement wood stock made me look at the synthetic, but I'm glad I did."

"Stock replacement had an excellent fit. Forearm was pretty much a bear and you have to put a lot of force on it to get it seated. But I do like how the forearm feels vs. the original wood. Has a nice finger groove in it and doesn't quite feel like a 4x4 like the original forearm."

"Fit my Mossberg 500 ATP perfectly without adding any weight! You do have to purchase a stock bolt, washer and lock washer if your converting from a pistol grip to one of these stocks."

Great new Look to an old gun,

"Was happy to learn from Ramline that the Winchester 1400 stock would fit my Winchester 1500. My forend was cracked and I searched and searched but could not find a walnut forend replacement. I went with the black set because it was the only one available. My 30 year old gun now looks very modern and like new with the black stock and forend... Perfect fit and easy to install. The only halfway difficult thing was removing the old stock. Had to find a screw driver with a 9 inch reach and get a strong neighbor to unscrew the bolt that had been in place for 30yrs. Saw later that a 1/2 inch socket would have made that job a lot easier."
