"I think the leather is good quality and nice color. The leather seems to be a little to stiff. Holds my 30-30 well, not to loose or to tight. My only complaint is that it BARELY fits on a 2" belt. It takes a lot of help to get it on there, but it will fit. Other then being tight, I would recommend it."

"I have used these Cartridge Carrier's for 3 seasons now and I find them to be outstanding !!! I slide two of these carriers onto the Triple K Cartridge Belt along with my Bowie Knife when walking in hunting big game. I have always held true to the addage that it's best to be prepared, and are a nice compliment for my 45-70 Marlin 1895GS Guide Gun. These Cartridge Carrier's and Cartridge Belts are as good..if not better..than the Cartridge Belts that I brought 40 years ago from Herter's. At my age now the old belts could not be worn for the obvious reason that I now wear a large in the belt(My son was broken hearted to receive them.). The Cartridge Carriers resolve that problem permantly, as you can slide them over any old belt you desire.
These are excellent quality gunleather carriers and have held up to some pretty rough treatment from me.
Hint: Get some neats-foot-oil to soften the leather and the Cartridge Carriers will mold to your waist a lot softer. In a pinch any good oil will work."

"Bought 2 of these because of the calibers I was taking on safari to RSA. Wore both cartridge holders every day, in an out of the land cruiser and never knew they were there. A little tight getting the shells in the first time but after that: easy in and easy out."

"Highest recommendation. If you need to have a dozen shells available, this is the way. Good leather, strong stitching, snug fit in the cartridge loops. Make sure the belt loops on your pants are spaced far enough apart for it to fit, or else just skip one. Great product."

"This cartridge holder is great for wearing while hunting or at the range to keep ammo handy. It holds enough cartridges so you don't load yourself down with heavy boxes of ammo. You can keep your pocket free for items that you need in your clothing in the field. I also discovered that the 38/357 size holder will also carry 30-30 shells or you can mix and match as you wish."
