"The holster it self fit my Glock 19 perfect. The clip mag however will take some work. The mags fit so tight that its not even funny. Im in the process of using some baseball glove oil and pieces of wood to stretch the mag poutches. Im a bigger guy and this holster was the best fitting one I could find for a man my size."

"I ordered this holster for my Smith & Wesson model 915, 9 mm. I was extremely impressed with the workmanship and the quality of the prodect. The two clip pouches was really tight getting my clips in but arter the pouched stretched a little their was no problem The same with the holster part. It was a snug fit which is what I wanted. I will have this item for a long time to come"

"Looked for weeks for a well made leather holster that did not cost $100.00 plus. Bought it. Oiled it. Put my full size 1911 TRP in it. Left it and the extra mags in for about 5 days. Great fit. Leather expanded to fit the gun and the mags. A Great buy made well and will last. If you do not know which holster to buy go to Triple K home page and do some research. there site list all the guns and which holster to buy."

"I have bought my sports and hunting gear from Cabelas for over thirty years,and never had a problem. As to this rig,I find it to be yet another exceptional value among the many Cabelas offers. I have read the reviews,and may I be so bold as to give some advice to those who are "less than Happy'' with it. First,make sure you order the correct rig. The chart is very easy to follow. Next,all leather products are stiff at first,and not made to feel or work as well as your time worn rig. Here's a simple trick i use. I spray the leather with wd-40 or it's equivilent. I soak it throughly in a plastic bag,and after 24 hrs. i'm ready to shape it. I hang the rig outsige in good weather,or inside if not. Mind the Wife or girlfriends floor or rug. A bathroom with a vent fan is as good as outside for this.After a day or two I put the rig in my gun cabinet with the weapon empty and in the holster,as well as any extra clips. If you don't have any extra clips,you can fashion your oun out of wood,(I Did for now),or buy some. The leather will not only form to the gun and clips,but will be waterproof and never shrink. I realize this may not be helpful to those who need immediate use of the rig. But know this,I have a rifle sling that I bought after coming hove from "Nam" in 1970 which I treated like this,and it's still on the job and used for every season on my weapons. This new rig has just been done by me,and I would match it against any other rig regardless the price.As a bonus,the oils darken and bring our the grain of the leather in a very nice way. Hopes this helps,Bob."

"I love this holster. I carry my Stoger .40 S&W in it. When I have my hunting pack on it rides just right. Before I was using one on my hip, but the belt on my day pack was always squeezing it. I can easily conceal it under a jacket with no bulge."

"I did not have high expectations as I am hard to fit and I have gone through a number of different holsters...this works great. Once you fit it and work the leather a bit (the gun will not just go right in you need to push it the first time) it fits great and works great. I needed a setup for under coat wear in the winter and this is it."

"I had ordered a Galco Miami Classic for my 1911 Colt Govn't that was left to me from my buddy who served in Nam. I wasn't to crazy about the Galco product when it came so I changed my mind and got this Triple K outfit. As soon as I got it put togeather with mags in mag-pouch and pistol in holster put her on and man what a nice setup. IMHO this is much better and dosen't have the price of Galco's- Gold, if ya know what I mean. This Triple k product very well made and you won't be sorry once you've bought it, and you will save some money as well."

"Not too bad to get adjusted as I am tall. The Glock 22 fits snug and is getting softer with some glove oil applications. The magazine holders were extremely tight. I've applied several applications of glove oil with magazines in...still tight but becoming easier to remove without having to resort to using both hands (kind of defeats the whole idea smooth reloading, at this time). Only a 3 due to the mag holder stiffness."

"I have "carried" most of my adult life and I am 70 years old. During my law-enforcement career I have tried about every shape and form of holster out there. The Triple K is without a doubt the best of all. I had absolutely no problem with the assembly, yes, the "first fit" of my Colt Govt issue 1911 was a bit snug the first time, as were the magazines, but all formed to fit very quickly. It is a comfortable rig, does not slip and slide and is comprable to holsters selling for twice the price. I would have no hestitation recommending this rig to anyone."

"An excellent product. Once you have it adjusted, you can put it on as easily as putting on a pull over shirt. You don't need to tie it down to your belt, it just hangs without any concern of it showing. It can be worn comfortably all day with no sagging pants. The offside ammo pouch provides weight balance. This is the best holster I have ever worn."

"i spent an extended amount of time adjusting the shoulder straps and was not able to get an adjustment that worked for me. the kicker that make me return it was that my pistol would not even fit in the holster. it was so tight that after fighting to get it in it would pull back the slide on my baretta 92 and nearly operate the action leaving the hammer half cocked and the action partially open. then it was nearly impossible to remove. thanks cabelas for a great return policy that saved the day."

"A really nice rig, but I wish it had a way to secure the clip side to Your belt as it has a tendancy to to pull to the gun side.
With a heavy shirt it stays in place.
I like it, and were it everyday. I will put a clip of some kind on the clips side to hook on My belt before it gets warm again so it will stay in place with a t shirt."

"My holster has been in service 14 years now and has been used extensively. I have carried Glocks - 17, 19, 22, 23, 24, 31, and 32C with it and all fit just fine. I read some comments about the leather and I am not sure where they came from as the leather on both the straps and the holder matched and was soft from the beginning. I wanted a holster that I did not have to tie down as I always wear bib overalls when walking my property. The rig works very well as a concealed carry unit also. I like the two magazines for balance and for backup. Once purchased, I left the gun and magazines in the holster quite a while for a form fit. For hands free carrying I can not say enough about it. The reason I am writing this review and looking again is because I am going to purchase another rig for my Springfield 1911 and hope that I am just as pleased with it. Who knows, this is 14 years later. My only change would be to have it in black as well."

"I wanted a shoulder holster that would do the job but not cost an arm and a leg. This holster is made of quality leather, fits well, and, once it is properly adjusted, works well. I am carrying an all steel 1911 Commander so there is some weight associated with this pistol and the holster does a good job of distributing that weight. It results in a comfortable carry.
Adjusting the holster straps so that you can place the pistol in that "just right" position for ease of draw takes some experimentation. But, it is possible to find the right position if you are willing to work at it.
Overall it is an excellent value for the price."

"I love the unit after all the adjustments for your body contour. My problem, as with others, is that the holster itself does not fit a Colt 1911 or Colt Defender, just a small version of the 1911, very well. After talking to customer service I sent the first holster back and the second fit better but not good so I took it to a local shoe repair shop and after some adjustments, to the holster and more expense, it now fits. I now have about $100 in the outfit."
