"Finally, I can do away with flimsy fiberglass rods and cheap plastic tips. Dewey rods are smooth operating and a perfect fit inside the bore. The length is nice too; No more adding a rod extention when using a bore guide."

"I have multiple dewey cleaning rods and they are the best I have bought. The 17 cal. is a little flimsy but mine has held up. I also bought a bore guide which may have helped it last. over all very happy with purchase"

"I recently got one of these after going through 2 sets of inexpensive 3-piece, brass cleaning rods. At first I scoffed at the price, but you get what you pay for, and with this rod I can't want for more. At first I was concerned it wouldn't mate with my brushes and jags (which are all 8-32 thread), but a friendly Cabela's associate told me it comes with an adapter (because the end of the rod is male, and a different thread). Have never used such a solid, quality cleaning rod in all my life. The only thing that scared me at first glance, after opening the package, was how big in diameter the rod was. I thought maybe i bought the wrong caliber or something. But it fits like a glove in my .270 bore. Would def. recomend this product to anyone who's sick of breaking those cheesy brass rods when trying to brush your bore. Very happy, thanx Cabelas."

"These are great cleaning rods! I just bought a Dewey Coated Cleaning Rod to keep my new 7MM Rem. Mag cleaned, and liked it so much, that I ordered another for my 22-250. Had to throw away my old breakdown cleaning rods.....they're just junk compared to the Dewey's. GREAT PRODUCT!!"

"I now have three of these rods. They are great! You should measure your fire arm length plus the bore guide to choose your length. I found this out the hard way. However, I use the shorter rod for my lever guns and all worked out. If anyone knows the thread size on these I would like to know. Thank you!"
