"I've been pretty lucky with these, only busted one when a berdan-primed case snuck in on me. It's a little disconcerting that they break often enough to be sold in a 5-pack, though. I bought 2 just in case."

"You know...I thought there was supposed to be 5 decapping pins in the package. Only 4 came in the package but sheese...who really needs 5 anyway. They work fine so it will likely be a long time before I need more. The price was about the best out there. I would order these again if I run out of them."

"I agree with the earlier review on this item. The headed pins break off instead of bending and the newer decapping units bend in the threaded section resulting in having to purchase a new unit."

"THE NEW DEPRIMING ROD REPLACABLE USING HEADED PINS IS "NOT" AS ROBUST AS WAS THE OLD COLLET SYSTEM. THE VALUE ENGINEERING DONE REDUCED THE PARTS COUNT (WHICH GOOD ENGINEERING IS SUPPOSED TO DO), HOWEVER, THE HEADED DECAPPING PINS ARE HARD TO COME BY (i.e. NOT BEING STOCKED BY RCBS DEALERS). THE OLD SYSTEM. PERSONALLY I THINK THE OLD SYSTEM IS BETTER. THE METALURGY SEEMS TO BE DIFFERENT ON THE "OLD" REPLACEABLE PINS AS WELL. THE "OLD" WERE MORE LIKELY TO BEND WHEREAS THE "NEW" HEADED PINS SEEM TO SHATTER AND THE DEPRIMER ROD BENDS IN THE THREADS ON THE PIN END (COULD BE THE METALURGY THERE AS WELL) - PRETTY EXPENSIVE REPLACING RODS WHICH IS ANOTHER REASON TO STAY WITH THE OLD SYSTEM. SOMETIMES CHANGE IS NOT GOOD. I THINK RCBS HAS CHANGED HANDS SINCE I BOUGHT MY EQUIPMENT SOME 25 YEARS AGO. FOR THE MOST PART, RCBS IS A LIFETIME INVESTMENT WITH FEW PROBLEMS EXCEPT THIS NEW ROD/PIN SYSTEM."
