Explosive tip,

"Do not use these bullets on any game animals!! Shot an antelope in the rib cage twice and once in the front leg knucke. The bullets skinned the animal at point of inpact but did no internal damage. The front leg knuckle did not break (this is an antelope leg.....very small boned animal) and the lungs nor heart or anything internal was damaged from the two shots in the rib cage. Very disappointed with Nosler, emailed them but they did not respond. Accubonds are just a little better. Use Speer for big game, I am from Wyoming and have shot many animals. Always one shot kills with Speer Grand Slams."

"I am very impressed with this bullet for my 30-06. compared to other ballistic tip boat tail 165 grain bullets the nosler was by far the most accurate. 2 bulls eyes 1" at a 100yds first two rounds. groupings size of a quarter at 100 yds thereafter. the Nosler gets 5 stars for consistency and will most definitely be my main ammunition for the 30-06."

"these bullets are extremely accurate and cause a lot of damage on thin skinned animals. a great all around bullet for most hunters. if you are accuracy issues with these bullets then you need to try a different charge or powder all together. i reload these in 30-06 (125 grain) and 300wm (180 grain)"

These ballistic tips have extreame killing power,

"I bought some of these a few years ago preloaded in 150 gn for a 30-06 and found them to be deadly on deer. However I wanted to try loading a little lighter bullet for the 06. So I picked up some 125 gn ballistic tips and found them to work just as well. I killed 4 deer last year and 3 of the 4 dropped in their tracks. The 4th ran only about 100 yrds but only because I shot a litte high and back. They generally leave a large exit hole and do massive internal damage. The only negative side is they are made with lead and can ruin some meat. I plan to keep loading these but will also be trying some of the Barnes tripple shock. I have target shot some of the Barnes bullets and they are extra accurate, fly very fast, non leaded and if the promo's are true kill just as well but we'll see. Unfortunately the barnes bullets are nearly double in cost. I feel the Ballistic tips are a very good value and give a hunter a big edge in accuracy and killing power giving us a better chance of still bringing home the bacon on that less than perfect shot. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could."

"I tryed the Nosler 125-180gr balistic tip bullets in my US 7.62x54R Custom Mosin Nagant M91/30 That I built. The results were incredible. All bullets kept under 1" at 100yds, With all sorts of common powders. (Varget, Blc-2, Benchmark) All around great bullets. On target performance is devistating to say the least. The price is great too compared to others. Would recomend to anyone."

Accurate Bullets,

"These are good bullets. Very accurate. Used to use them as my deer hunting bullet with great success, until the Accubonds came out. I didn't like the way they came apart on impact. Was always finding several pieces of bullet in the meat. Now I use them for target practice because they fly the same as a Accubond! Accubonds perform much better!"

"A year's testing from the benchrest & in the field;
125 grain Nosler Ballistic tip bullets give both the .308 Win. & .30-06 Sprg. higher average velocities, while reducing recoil to shooter. Keeping both calibers shooting groups under 1 inch at 100 yds. was allways the highest priority. We will not let accuracy suffer for the sake of energy or velocity. Field performance on Whitetail deer very similar to .270 Win. with 130 gr. bullet or .25-06 Rem. with 115 gr. bullet. Both .30 cal could shoot flatter & faster than with 150 grain bullets, yet retains enough energy for full penetration. As with working up hand loads, use good data & look for signs of any excess pressure. Chronograph all test loads, keep data on each lot or group. Doing your homework can be beneficial."

"Loaded this for my .308 at 3100 fps for coyote hunting. Accurate to 300+ yards. This load shoots flatter than a .223, and hits with 4 times the wallop. Have not yet shot a yote to verify what sort of damage it inflicts."

"One word AWESOME. Killed many a deer with these babies. No better bullet for deer. Great wound channel. Quick expansion. Large blood trail but only for a few yards and there it will end with a dead animal. Accuracy is amazing."
