115 gr., 25 cal., Nosler Ballistic Tip Bullets,October 19, 2009

"Had outstanding results on a recent antelope hunt in Wyoming. Double lung shot on the antelope from 240 yds with a 25-06 using IMR 7828 and the 115 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips. The animal just collapsed. He went straight down and was esessially sitting on his hind legs with the front legs tucked in front of him. Didn't move an inch from where I shot him. The bullet fully pentetrated the animal. A small bullet fragment was found when skinning him out. I love these for antelope and small deer. The virtually explode in the chest cavity of the animal. I would not use them on larger game."

"Loaded these bullets for a .257 Roberts and am very happy with the results of less than half an inch group at a hundred yards. I also shoot this bullet in a 150 grain .284 diameter in my 7mm remington magnum and achieve the same result of one ragged hole at a hundred yards. Also i have never had a deer take a step after being shot with these bullets. Excellent product excellent results."
"Have been using this bullet in my 25-06 and 250 Savage for some time.Excellent groups(,05 to .07) in both guns. Never shot a deer that went more than 20ft after a good hit in the shoulders. Bullets held together very well. Will never change bullets"
The Best of the Best,March 31, 2009

"I loaded a batch of 25-06 Rem. with these bullets to work up an accurate combination for long distance shots. I was not disappointed. The first powder bullet combo shot with 1/2" group at 100 yds. and an inch and a half at 200 yds. I can't wait to get out to call some coyotes to see how this bullet performs on varmints and game. This was with an out of the box new Savage Mod. 116 that had only 50 rounds fired before I tried my handloads. I can only attribute this level of accuracy to a fine caliber with the best bullets available. Nosler gets the job done."
100gr .25 cal Nosler BT in 25-06,November 26, 2008

"This bullet performed well in my 25-06 using 53.5 gr of IMR4350. I recently harvested a whitetail buck at 150 yards using this load. The buck only made it about 25-30 yards. The damage to the lungs was impressive. The entrance wound was about 1.5 inches (bullet must have expanded well on impact), with outstanding carnage to the vitals. Most of the energy must have been spent during the pass through, with the bullet making it through the opposite shoulder and exiting without extensive damage to the meat. The bullets are also very accurate, consistantly producing groups less than one inch with my setup at 100 yards (some down to about 0.3-0.4 inches). I would try these bullets if you are looking for an accurate bullet with plenty of knockdown power. I have also loaded some on the 110gr Nosler Accubonds, but have not tested them in the field. I'm sure they will also perform well."
Accurate Bullet!,November 27, 2006

"This bullet shoots great out of my Ruger M77 MKII .25-06. My best group from a rest @ 100yds is 1/4" C2C and averaging 5/8" groups. This is with IMR 4350 max charge and Fed 210M primer. I took a Mule deer buck this year with this load through the vitals. It ran 20-30 yards then fell over dead. I recovered the bullet in the far side front leg and weighed it it was only 39 grains ( just the copper base and most of the jacket were left). Most of the energy was spent on the entry wound (Larger than a grapefruit). I use NBT varmint bullets in my .223 and expect explosive results. I thought the hunting version of the NBT bullets would hold together a little longer after impact. So I have picked up some Nosler Accubond 110 grainers hoping for similar accuracy with better big game performance. These bullets still get five stars because of batch consistancy resulting in great accuracy."
