Pretty Good,

By Shootforfun

"But not perfect. I had to use more force seating my 45 LC primers than should have been necessary during the initial loading. That said, the brass holds up well and subsequent primings were easier. Solid value."

"This was some nice brass. I've bought other brands and either had to toss some that were smashed or didn't get the full quantity leaving me short. Thanks Starline for a good quality product."

Great value for .45 Colt brass,
June 15, 2009
By bueller
from Altoona, PA
|
"I ordered 200 rounds of this brass in .45 Colt, which nobody else seemed to have in stock or be able to get. I found it to be very high quality and easy to reload. I haven't fired much of it yet, but the rounds that I did fire functioned as well as any brand of brass I have tried. And the price tends to be lower than any other bulk brass brand."

Never lets me down,
January 20, 2009
By littleroundman

"I have reloaded many thousands of rounds of Starline brass in .45 Colt, 45-70, and soon 45-90. I shoot cowboy action and BPCR. In 45 Colt I load both smokless and black powder. In 45-70 and in 45-90 I load black powder compressed loads. Starline brass can be reloaded many times without spliting, head seperation or streaching a great amount."

starline brass .454 casull,
November 18, 2008
By BobReloaded
from Southern California
|
"Good value for the money, arrived in perfect condition. Primer pockets were somewhat inconsistent in amount of force needed to seat primer. Does have to be resized before loading. 3 out of 50 cases I loaded, using brand new Hornady titanium nitride sizer die wrinkled the walls slightly. I went slowly, so either the Hornady die is a little tight,or the brass was a little on the big side. I have loaded .45 colt starline brass, and had no problems, though they also had to be resized before loading."

Good brass at a fair price,
June 21, 2008
By swannsa

"I have used Starline brass to reload for my .454 Casull and my .45-70 Gov't. I have only loaded the new brass a couple of times, so I can't vouch for it's longevity... however I have no complaints so far. I have compared these to brass from other companies such as Federal, Winchester, and Nosler. The other brand names do appear to be a little better constructed, but I think the Starlines are worth their low price. Buy Starline if you are loading on a tight budget."

Starline brass,
May 24, 2007
By RussF
from Kannapolis,NC
|
"This is the first time I've used Starline brass. My only complaint is that just about every case in the bag had little dents all over them. After firing them the first time, the pressure of the .460 irons them out completely. Not a big deal but I was expecting perfect brass with all the good things I've heard about Starline"
