Black Hills 68 gr. MP--PERFECT!,

"The Black Hills 223 68 gr. match point is a great round. I use it in a 1 in 8 twist 18 inch rifle (with a 2.5-8 power scope). On the shooting range off the bench it puts 10 shots in 1/2-3/4 inch groups at 100 yrds when I take my time, a better shooter could improve on this no doubt. Has the ability to reach out there better than the 55 gr. In the wind it has much better performance as well. In south Texas we are constantly fighting the wind and these are a big help. Feeds great. Shoots clean."

"I bought this ammo for my Armalite M15 A4 (T),it's very accurate,sub-MOA at 100yds and consistant 1 1/2'' 5 shot groups at 200. I tried 6 different types of ammo in this rifle and it liked this the best"

"Great product - excellent accuracy (1/2 groups), reasonable extreme spread velocity ranges, BUT . . . . don't think you're going to get 2800fps out of them. I have shot 3 boxes of 338 Lapua and all were chronographed in the 2730 to 2750 range with a 28" barrel. Other than that, great stuff!"

"As stated before, same hole groups happen when you have found the right bullet that matches your twist, right amount of powder, free bore space is maximized, cold / warm bore differences are nil, etc..... With that being said, BHA 50gr VMAX in 223 is the only ammo (that is not handloaded) that produces these results out of my rifle. I've got a 1 in 12 twist, 22" Lilja off a Cooper 21 Phoenix. Perfection."

"Excellent product, only bad side is constantly out of stock or backorder. Being a competition shooter who chooses not to reload due to lack of time this causes problems. Stock piling customers should not be concerned with match quality as much as quanity. 1000 rds of any grain bullets is fine for stock piling for hard times. However match ammo of same brand bullets means everything at monthly shooting competitions. So please order cheap bulk for stockpiling GUYS."

"This is the best shooting ammo I have found for my Remington M700 VSF. It keeps cleaner longer/less fouling than other match-grade ammo and the accuracy in unmatched (even with matchkings that cost 2x the $)
I have heard from AR15 owners that it is too light cause of the 1:7 twist but my 1:12 shoots this consistently sub 0.75'' all day (5-shot groups).
The brass is high enough quality to use for reloads too."

"I tried this ammo in a stag arms 6l varmit ar-15. 10 shot groups averaged around 1 1/2 inches at 200 yards. This was without allowing cooling time for the barrel between groups or individual shots. The reason i give this ammo a 4 star rating is I had feeding issues with this ammo. this could be because match grade ammo is naturally light loads, but it could also be due to a faulty magazine. haven't had the chance to test the mag to see if that was the problem. but, from what i read that is the likely reason. if you want good accuracy without having to reload this ammo is a good choice."

"I have experimented with almost all of the Black Hills .223 offerings except the high pressure 5.56/77gr. My Colt AR-15 loves the 52 grain moly coated HP. Everything I've tried in Black Hills shot extremely accurate but the 52 grain shot the best. A very impressive .3" three shot groups at 100 yards. I use it to practice as well as coyote hunting. Great Product. You won't be disappointed."

"The day I purchased My dpms panther lite 16 they told me to use the black hills ammo. I have always shot the new (red box) not re loads thru it. I have NEVER had 1 problem with jamming feeding etc.. The grouping is very accurate as well! I will ONLY buy black hills and was glad to have it recommended to me on my purchase!! Thanks cabelas for sending my 500 rounds out exremely quickly last go round!!"
