"I just returned from an antelope/mulie hunt in Wyoming. My gun of choice was a model 700 Remington chambered for the Weatherby .257 Magnum. I purchased the 115GRBST Weatherby ammo from Cabelas a couple of months before I left. Sighting in the rifle 3" high @ 100 yds, my final 3 shots were right on target and could be covered with a quarter.
In Wyoming, I took 2 antelope and 1 mule deer with 3 shots from this rifle/load combination. The longest shot was a measured 412 yards. All 3 animals went down immediately. Wow! I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of the Weatherby 115GRBST ammo!"

"I bought a used 257 Weatherby at a gun show years ago - made in Japan. It shoots one-half inch groups all the time with the 115 gr NBTs. So far, two shots - two Antelope; 209 and 300 yards. It should work great on deer. I'm ready to get some 120 gr Partitions to use on elk and hogs. Thanks Roy - RIP."

"I recently purchased this ammo, and it is wonderful. I bought the 100 grain SP and the 115 grain NBT and they both are extremely accurate on paper. I have not been able to use it in the field yet, but maybe some coyote hunting over the winter or some long range groundhog hunting in the spring is just what I need to prepare for next deer season. Great caliber, great ammo. What else can I say?"

"I have hunted elk for 25 years and have never had a better shooting bullet. I will never forget the year my grandfather gave me my 1 0f 1000 1976 Commerative Weatherby. That same year I went into a large sports store in Colorado Springs to get my first box of ammunition and the guy behind the gun counter laughed and told me that a .257 was way to small for elk. You can imagine my extreme satisfaction later that year when I brought pictures of my first bull that I shot with that rifle. Granted it was a spike but it was the only leagle bull to hunt in Oregon at the time. That poor spike had no idea what hit him.. He made it all of 25 yard after being shot. Well to make a long story short, I have hunted with that rifle every year since and would not consider another. I did some research and found the ballistics on the NBT round to be the hardest hitting, flattest shooting round made for the .257. I challenge you to find a better off the shelf round!!! "I recently purchased a .257 Weatherby Magnum rifle, it's the Vanguard SUB MOA. I am shooting the 110 grain Accubond and have had success at the range. I killed my first whitetail tonight with my new rifle and this ammo. It was only a 40 yard shot and I shot him in the neck. I couldn't believe the exit wound. It was literally the size of a softball. I was shocked. So far this ammo has performed great. All of the Weatherby ammo is pricey, but looks like it will pay in the long run."
