"I just got this holster. My 1858 Remington .44 caliber with 5 1/2" barrel fits perfect. Good, thick leather, nice tooling, well made with heavy stitching. Top of the holster wants to fold in, so sometimes I hafta two-handed holster the gun. No way is this configured for crossdraw, though, hence 4 stars. The belt loop is straight, not at an angle like you'd expect for crossdraw. Sits kinda high on the strong side, but ok. I like it and may get the other slim jim for my .36 caliber Remmie with 6 1/2" barrel."
