"This is a quality belt for the money. Well made - good leather. I wuld have awarded this belt 5 stars except for the sizing. Had to return the medium even though it was supposed to adjust to 39" and get a large [40"-45"]. I wear 33" jeans. Add min. 6" to your waist size for proper fit."

Oklahoma Cartridge bely,

"The belt is a very good belt, but the website does not indicate waist size when ordering. It only gives medium, large or extra large to choose from. I wear a 40" so I ordered the XL and when I recieved the belt it was too large and the belt indicated XL is for 46" - 51". This information would have been nice to have had when orginally ordering to prevent the additional shipping charges I will have to pay to exchange."

Nice belt for the price,

"First of all, I have never had any problems with a Cabelas product. The belt is nice for the price, make sure you buy one size bigger they seem to be sized small. The leather is of good quality the tooling is sharp and I like the 40 rounds you can carry in the belt, although some of the rounds are under your holster. This belt is a nice addition to my six shooter."

Great belt,

"Why pay more when this belt has nice thick leather, comfortable to wear, and does the job. Bullet loops are tight at first but loosen up with use. I bought this one for my wife after I had bought one in 45 LC for myself. Nothing fancy but I doubt real cowboys had anything fancy."

"I found the product a great value for the cost. It isn't like a custom made outfit but I found it to be very satisfactory for regular use. The customer service was outstanding. I ordered the wrong size belt and had to return it. I received a replacement fast with no prblems. If you wear a 35-36 inch waist in pants you need to order the large belt. Thanks"

"This is the first product from Cabela's that I've not been happy with. The Medium was way too small and the Large was huge. The leather on both was vey thin and the cartridge loops will have to go inside of the holster loop if you are right handed because they go all the way around to your right hip bone. There's better belts out there."

"This is a very nice gun belt for the money, The belt is well made.
The size chart is accurate. Not on the small side.
The bullet loops hold the rounds nice and tight.
My belt came with 41 loops.
If you are looking for a nice gun belt that wont bust your wallet. This belt is the one.
I was surprised at the quality, and the shipping was quick."

"Good quality, light weight, at half the price. Most western style belt & Holster are very heavy & cost quite a bit more. I love the lighter weight & soft leather. 100% leather & good stiching. Molds to single action real well. Stiffer leather would take longer."

"I found the belt to be of good quality and workmanship. The leather was very new right out of the box, so it needs some breaking in. They also apparently oiled it fairly extensively because it arrived oily to the touch. The cartridge loops especially need some breaking in. I had to take a wide necked screwdriver and stretch the loops so I could get shells in. The loops are still a little tight, even after leaving them loaded for a few days. The belt itself was a little tight on arrival but loosened right up after wearing it about an hour.
Also, be aware that due to the 40 cartridge loops, your holster will probably ride pretty far forward.
Overall it's a good quality belt for the money, and the breaking-in issues are pretty standard for leather products. Expect to have to break it in, and expect that it's going to 'sweat' oil for a little while. Other than that it's good workmanship for a good price that will make it easier for you to carry 40 rounds."

"Being new to the Cowboy Acton Shooting, I was looking for economical gear. I found the Oklahoma Leather Holster Belt and liked the authentic appearance. One thing I particularly liked with the 3 1/2" width. The Belt fit perfectly and rides on the hips in the fashion I prefer. The quality of the stitching is excellent and I plan to be using this Belt for many years!"
