An authentic reproduction of the famed "Buffalo Sharps" favored by 19th century hunters who told
stories of consistent, clean buffalo kills up to 400, 500 or 600 yards. Early Sharps rifles won so many
shooting contests, especially long-range competitions, that sportsmen and the military jumped to
acquire them. So well designed, Sharps rifles can still compete in the field with modern arms. Capable
of taking all North American big game, these reproductions are the ideal firearm for the hunter, shooter
and collector looking for a unique piece that carries the history and romance of the American West.

Great Rifle,September 28, 2009
By CCBfrom Wisconsin
"First, Cabelas did a great job of shipping this rifle, so I could pick it up locally (or as locally as I can get). Look, fit, finish is excellent! Shoots great! If I had any complaint, it would be that Pedersoli ships it with a heavy coating of grease; must be for rust-proofing. I didn't think I'd ever get the barrel scrubbed out. Took a long time and serious elbow grease, but it was worth it. This gun shoots two-inch groups at 100 yards, with factory ammo, which is as well as old(er) eyes can do with the sights on the gun. If I put a vernier sight on it, I am confident that the groups would shrink considerably."

Pedersoli Sharps 45-90 love affair,December 3, 2008
By Calibradfrom Bay Area CA
"This is a very handsome, well made, rifle. The checkering and wood fit are impressive and lovely to behold. The case hardened receiver and blued barrel are, well, beautiful. There is only one issue I see which is the forearm in front of the falling block release latch where it seems that the latch will rub the wood upon disassembly (unfortunate because the opposite side is perfectly flush). This is the only reason for the 4 star rating and if half stars were available I would have ranked it at 4-1/2 stars. The falling block is a blued finish which you can't tell fron the picture - not case hardened like others - but nicely done and who really cares? Not me at this price. Have not shot it yet but I am very pleased with the rifle at this excellent price!"

45/70,November 27, 2008
By travelerj71from Mishawaka Indiana
"I love this rifle. Great firing with the counter balancing of the the octagon barrel. This year alone I was able to harvest a Buffalo easily in one shot at 80 yards. Great firearm. Classic round, classic firearm, what else can I say. Roger and Eberts two thumbs up!"

Sweet but back up!!!,November 10, 2006
By DSCWalla2from Walla Walla, WA
"The pic Zoom is a sweet idea, you are able tomove in close and look at the item whare ever you would like. The only problom that came up with was that the white back ground made it hard to see some of the metle and lighter cloered itomes"
